Started 2 Mimosa X Orange Punch seeds in Root Riot cubes which gave me specimen A and specimen B. I bought the seeds directly from Barney's Farm. I'm using a 32 gallon reservoir with my custom built RDWC/Drip system. General Hydroponics 3-part Flora series is my base nutrient and I'm running it live (Southern AG Garden Friendly Fungicide@5mL/32gallons) and (Extreme Gardening Mykos/sprinkled into the rootzone). I'm using BioRoot to enhance root vigor and Armor Si to increase stem strength, disease resistance, and photosynthesis. I check pH daily and maintain it at 5.9. The first few days with a fresh solution it will slowly drift upwards but will stabilize after about 3 days (not a problem). When it's drifting I will set it at 5.8 and after 24 hrs it will be in the low 6's. After the 3rd day the pH becomes static, the EC of 1.2 (600 ppm) remains static and the water level is dropping (perfect!) The Southern AG GFF and Mykos keep everything smelling earthy and fresh. Running the light at 40% power approximately 20 inches from the top of the plants. PPFD Range: 450–550 µmol/m²/s and I measure using the UNI-T light meter paired with the PPFD Meter android app. Daytime VPD- 0.9/ Night VPD- 0.6 - I find it easier to control 1 parameter (VPD) rather than controlling 2 parameters (Humidity & Temperature). The little girls are looking healthy and growing fast. Pictures were taken 12 days after the seedlings were placed into the DWC system. Nothing too exciting yet but I'll keep y'all posted! I'll be more thorough when we get to the flowers. Let's GROW!!!

Growing fast! Going to start the Transition to flower tomorrow and I've already begun some LST and defoliation. Don't plan to scrog because I don't have the time to bother and I'll yield enough without going through the hassle. I topped both plants leaving 5 nodes, so I'll get 10 colas per plant. No larf will be tolerated!

My nutrient schedule - https://gh-flora-series-feed-chart.tiiny.site/ Started the transition. I was planning to start 12/12 on Sunday the 2nd of February but I got busy with my day job and I had to postpone until Friday the 7th. Nothing too exciting yet, but both Mimosa x Orange Punch specimens are looking healthy. I'm growing them along side some Cookies Kush which aren't doing as well. I will have to take the time to do a mid-grow salt flush if I want to get the Cookies Kush back on track. The Mimosa X Orange Punch seems to be very tolerant to the salts compared to the Cookies Kush. I added the scrog net in case the flowers get heavy and need some extra support. I probably won't do very much LST because I don't have the time. The plants are are very stalky, short spacing between the nodes, very large sugar leaves, with super thick stems. I'll need to boost the Mg when I'm using the Purpinator but I don't have the right CalMag on hand right now so I'm using TPS CalMag complete until I get the CaliMagic in the mail, which has lower nitrogen. The Flora series will work better with a low or no nitrogen cal-mag. I'm going to come out and say it. It's kind of annoying that Grow Diaries censors General Hydroponics from their website. General Hydroponics is the most OG nutrient line out there and yeah they got a bad rap because they were bought out by a big corporation but the rumors that they are owned by Monsanto are not true - fake news dude! Grow Diaries still has Botanicare listed in their nutrient database and Botanicare is owned by the same company that owns General Hydroponics, so what gives?

ArmorSi 1mL - FloraMicro 4mL - FloraGro 2mL - FloraBloom 5mL - CaliMagic 2mL - Purpinator 3mL - EC 1.4 (700 PPM) I did a mid grow salt flush using 10 mL FloraKleen and cycled it through the system for 2 hrs. Lowered the humidity slightly to 55% and I will continue to incrementally lower until harvest time. It's been cool in my house but the girls seem to be doing just fine! Thought about putting a heater in there though. Running my light at 60% 25 inches from the scrog net. Average DLI=35 Average PPFD=750 In this setup the expression of the Mimosa X Orange Punch plants appears stalky with short internodal spacing and thick stems. Massive and wide sugar leaves with overlapping leaves rather than margins between them. Very beautiful plants and they seem to be fairly forgiving compared to some other plants I have in the system. I'm super stoked to see how the flowers will turn out! Lets Grow!!!!!!! **Update - 2/16/24 - Day 10** I had to bump up the cal-mag, observing early signs of magnesium deficiency. Upped the dosage from 1mL to 2mL of GH CaliMagic.

Things are looking good. Nothing really to note other than I installed a heater and raised the day temps to 74F because the grow room was running a little too cold. Next week we will raise the EC and raise the VPD. I plan to hit the plants progressively harder with Purpinator in the coming weeks. The two plants in the front are the Mimosa X Orange Punch and the two plants in the back are Cookies Kush. I didn't have time to run a diary on the Cookies Kush. I will say that you can push nutrients more aggressively with the Mimosa X Orange punch compared to the Cookies Kush which couldn't handle the same levels of nitrogen.
