Irene OG S1 - Atlanta's Claim to OG Fame

@ATLien415, yeah I was listening to him on a podcast the other day and he sounds like an all around stand up guy. I always like to have a knock you on your ass strain and everyday smoke strain In my stash I was looking at the big bad wolf and some of his cali orange stuff. If you have any recommendations of let me know. Although I'll definitely grab one of those Irene crosses.

I'm actually a long time Irene chaser and have moved away from her to The Menthol descendents (more Irene than Irene ever was) but being from the dirty south where Irene was the premier loud around for years, I 100% vouch that CSIH has the right cut. Goat and Monkey (now deceased ) had a real cut and CSI does. IDK where else other than the source you could even fathom validating it as real... You can ask the irene boys through the syndicate too and I'm sure they would confirm. Caleb is as legit as you can get for beans. Fresh, open-pollinated, real cuts, and connected like WiFi for decades at this point without a single instance of shenanigans. Irene itself (in S1 form) is not very amenable to stress and is prone to mutations. Don't think anyone could even make it to S4 if they tried, even Caleb said it was his hardest work ever with a few dozen seeds for an entire site... Can be fun, but for potency or crazy phenos with Irene I would concur with CSI themselves and think their 5150 TK or T1000 Irene crosses are where it is at. The Irene S1 seeds are just for posterity. Pretty much anything they put out is guaranteed giga-gas. Truly a dying breed of cultivator/breeder he is.
