2-16-19
I will be running Hells Canyon Genetics Purple Cookie Dough, Envy Genetics Popwalker, Black Sheep Genetics East Coast Sour Punch, and Humboldt Seed Organization Blueberry Headband.
They were placed in a wet paper towel between 2 plates and placed in a warm dark place.
2-20-19
They were planted into Rapid Rooters, and after 2 days when they stuck their heads out I put them into solo cups in coco
3-2-19
So they are moving along quickly, couple more days and they'll get transplanted. I want the smallest ones to catch up a bit. One of them had a little accident a few days ago. I was sucking up the run off with my shop vac and when I was pulling the hose back it accidentally sucked off half of the leaves of one of them, luckily it was OK and still trucking.. Lol
SETUP
Botanicare Coco, reused
4x4 tent
Air-cooled XXL hood
Adjustable light, 500 & 750
Started in solos, transplanted to 2gal fabric pots
Flora Flex Top feed matrices for the 2gals
I'll start them under 2ft 4bulb T5, then under 500MH
Flower them under 750watts HPS
3-4-19
They have been growing quite quickly the past few days, they are almost ready to be transplanted up to bigger pots/bags. I actually bought some small poly grow bags for their next stage, since I needed something smaller than a 1 gal but bigger than the solo cups. So I hope they work like I think they will, and make transplanting up to the bigger pot easier.
Also picked up some Canna Coco bricks this time to see if they are worth the extra money, if not I'll probably go back to the Roots Organic bricks.
3-8-19
Transplanted into 1/2gal poly grow bags. Thought they would be easier to go onto and get out of, they take some getting used to transplanting into. The girls seem to be healthy and thriving at this point. I'm just waiting on the last run to dry, then they'll be put in the tent under the 500watt Metal Halide light.
3-10-19
Going into next week looking good. Topped them all today. Also, somebody sent me a new line of nutrients called Cannabis Gold Premium to try out for this run, I'm also trying out Geoflora out on one plant. So it'll be fun to see what happens this run!
3-13-19
So they have been moved in to the tent. Bouncing back nicely from their toppings. All but one are being fed the 5 part line from Cannabis Gold Premium, and there's one that I'm trying Geoflora Veg on. So far everything is going great. Got new Veg and Bloom bulbs for this round so it shoukd be a good round.
3-14-19
So while I was moving everyone in to their tent, I noticed one of the girls was praying to the light gods. I didn't think anything of it until I went in to check on them today, the plant that was praying was looking a little faded, and also has some brown spots on some older leaves. So did a thorough flush on her and gave her a regular feed. Will definitely keep an eye on them.
3-16-19
So the one plant with the problem, I think it's pulling through, only time will tell. All other ones are doing good so far. The new line of test nutes are going alright, very concentrated, clean, and I believe complete.
3-20-19
Ive been super busy the past week and to toss more fuel to the flames I've been trying to get a few of the girls over a deficiency. I Flushed them all last night with ph'ed water with FloraKleen, Bio-cozyme, and calmag. I think it was a MG Def, either because I didn't buffer the coco enough or the new line of nutrients doesn't have enough cal/mg in the regular feed schedule. I'm confident, they are moving past it, but we'll see...
3-23-19
Seems like they pulled through whatever they were deficient in, and are doing well now. Waiting on 4 more replacement pots, and they all will be in 1 gal Radicle Bags, which seem to be awesome bags. Once they come in they will all be hooked up to be watered automatically once a day. They've been lst'ed down also, some more than others.
3-26-19
So all is moving along good still. They are now in 1 gal Radicle Bags, being autofed, @ 5.8ph & 500ppm (1.0ec). Had the bearings go on the fan to the Quantum ballast so had to use a backup, hopefully I can get that one fixed. Waiting for preflowers to show so I can get rid of any males.
Had a fan fall on one of the Popwalker and bust off a branch, taped her up and hopefully she'll recover.
3-31-19
So the past few days have been interesting. They've been doing well, I thought I would up the power to 600watts to give them a boost if growth to see if I could presex the Popwalker and Purple Cookie Dough. Feeding @ 575-625ppm @5.8-6.0ph.
4-2-19
So Im going to try my hand at some foliar spraying with Optic Foliar Overgrow and Transport. So far they seem to like it. They seem to be doing well, still waiting on them to show more pronounced presex signs, so I don't cull any females!
Also, anyone looking for real REUSABLE grow bags, that really air prune, and that are just multiple times better than fabric bags in every way, definitely check out Garden Gear Supplies RADICLE BAGS! I can't recommend them enough! They are a bit spendy, BUT I bet just in the time saved in trying to wash the fabric bags and the fact they will last for a long while will pay for them selves quickly. Check em out at https://gardengearsupply.com/radicle-bags/
4-6-19
So, I did some super cropping on all the taller branches to get the canopy even. Pulled out the males that I could tell were males definitely and will confirm anymore as soon as I see them, if there are more. If there are no more males, I will get rid of 1 or 2 to make some room for the stronger ones.
4-10-19
So, one more of the Purple Cookie Dough I believe showed male parts. So I think I'm gonna take him out and also put the Blueberry Headband in a corner of the tent as she seems to not really be growing very sturdy as her other sisters are. Thinking of flipping to 12/12 on Sunday.
4-13-19
Thinking of flipping to flower either Sunday or Monday depending on how they look. They seem to be growing well for the most part. The Blueberry Headband is still the runt of the litter, she just can't seem to catch up. Still trying to decide if she's worth flowering out or not. Maybe she'll be my corner hog.
4-17-19
So, I was going to flip them the past weekend but decided I'd give them a few more days and so will change them to 12/12 tonight. So I moved the Blueberry Headband out into the edge of the tent to flower so the others get lost of the light.
4-21-19
So they are starting their way in to stretch mode. They're being fed @550-650ppm, and around 6.0-6.3ph. Also, got rid of the Blueberry Headband. I believe (and confirmed by looking at roots) that at some point before transplant there was something wrong with the roots, and it eventually sorted it out but stunted the growth alot. She was more than half the size of the other plants, so I figured she wasn't going to flower that well.
4-25-19
So starting week 2 of flower and I realized that the last of the Purple Cookie Dough is a male, damn! So the final tally is 2x Popwalker and 2x East Coast Sour Punch. Hopefully these four will come out very good, cause I expected at least 5 out of the 8 I popped. Seem to be healthy and happy. Boosted feed to 600 ppm @ 6.3pH
4-27-19
All was going well in the tent last night, lowered the lights a bit to give them more intensity, and today one of the Popwalker is showing some signs of what looks like ph problems on the top of the plant. Kinda weird to show up this quickly as she was perfectly fine last night.
4-28-19
Changed out the MH bulb for a brand new HPS bulb. I hope they like the change. Trying to time their watering schedule so they get watered 4x with lights on instead of just 2x.
4-30-19
Still trying to figure out the issue. Flushed heavily, added a 1.5 tsp Recharge, 1.5ml Maxmicrobe, 1/2 tsp OrganismXL in case it's root problems, raised light, lowered to 500watts, refilled res with half strength nutes. Hopefully they will come back.
5-2-19
Still have issues with the one plant. Originally I thought it was a P Def and heat stress. Asked some people what they thought and they also said they think It's P. We will see how they are.
5-8-19
Sailing ahead nicely. Looks like the Popwalkerwith the issues pulled through, but now she doesn't have the best looking foliage as the Def messed it all up, hopefully she powers through flower tho and isn't just wasting space. Feeding @ 500-600ppm,6.3pH.
5-16-19
Going on day 30 of flower nice and healthy, stacking well, smelling amazing. Even the Popwalker that had issues seems to be doing OK now, shes not to prettiest plant, but still holding her own. Being fed 4x times during lights on and 1x lights off @550-600ppm(1.1-1.2ec) pH 6.1-6.3
5-19-19
5-18-19
Girls be stacking hard, healthy, stinky, and sticky buds. Definitely gaining visible size every few days.
5-26-19
Day 40 of flower and they are stacking hard! Smells are getting stronger and they are healthy. Feeding @ 550ppm (1.1ec) 6.1-6.3pH. Switching between Massive and Liquid Koolbloom every other week.
5-29-19
6-2-19
All is going smooth still. All are stinking, stacking, and looking absolutely stunning. The only "issue", the 2 East Coast Sour Punch are maturing a bit faster than the Popwalkers are. They must be fast finishing phenos is seems. I will let the Popwalkers go as long as possible without the ECSP getting to much amber. One more week of feed, and then I'll start the flush.
6-5-19
Cruising into week 7 of flower. They are swelling hard and stinking like a mofo! Will start to lower the feeding strength, and will start flushing when most of the trichs are mostly milky/cloudy.
6-9-19
Day 54 of flower. Wednesday the 12th I'll be starting their 2 week "flush". They are so stinking of funky gas with a bit of sweet when you open the tent, not super frosty, but greasy af, and super chunky. The E.C.S.P are definitely faster finishers, but the Popwalker is catching up.
6-19-19
We are on day 64 of flower going on with the flush. I've been going through a bout of high humidity the past week or so, so the humidity has been spiking up pretty bad, I have tons of air flow hoping to make it till the end with out contracting any major problems (pm, bud rot, mold). They have been starting to fall over from the weight of the buds so tried to hold them up with some yo-yos. They stink to high heaven, look absolutely stunning, and sticky sticky.
6-26-19 Day 71 Flower
Girls are coming down this weekend to start drying. They have been flushing for at least 2 weeks and starting to fade a bit. Trichs are almost all cloudy, no amber yet but I'm sure there will be some by the weekend.
This was a long and fun grow, with very minimal problems throughout. The only thing was one of the Popwalkers had an early case of lockout/P Def, so she didn't get as big as her sister.
6-29-19 Day 74
Chopped.down and hung today! Man, these girls are really really smelly, if everyone in my neighborhood didn't smell them, I'd be shocked. Really excited to smoke these when they're dry, should be an absolute treat.
