GTools Everything going fine.
The seedling is transforming into a small plant.
Initial stretch has been corrected and now it should grow quickly to get ready for topping.

GTools Developing nicely, the initially long stem has now nicely thickened.
Big fat sun leaves are now working as heavy producing factories, and you can see the plant grow every day.
No pre-flower yet, topped her at hte and of the week

GTools An the topping made the side branches grow, I started some low stress training.
I'm trying something new, using reusable LST clips.
Not sure if it is a good idea, they seem a bit narrow and I wonder whether the branches can thicken and grow.
I will maybe just leave them until the branch grows with a bend, then take them of.

GTools Well those bending clips were a bad "good idea"
Though for 4 branches it worked well and produced a nice solid bend, the smaller clips that I used were to narrow, and the branch had grown into it.
I messed up and broke of three promising branches...
However, even so I reused 4 of the wider clips 😵 to introduce an other bend, but I will keep an eye and free the branch before it is to late.
Some preflowers start showing so I hope I messed up right before the stretching phase.
Did some serious defoliation and a little lollipopping

GTools The plant is developing nicely, 8 main branches, going through a well pronounced stretch phase.
Started to give some nurients, half of recommended dose

GTools The plant does fine, taking quite some water.
Increasing Cal Mag and nutrients in general.
The plant shows symptoms of light stress. The symptoms happened in other grows of mine, though I never attributed it to light stress. Always started figuring out which deficiency was hitting.
Fortunately this time, there are two control grows going in on, and the sisters there, did not show the symptoms... And the only main difference between the setup is the height of the grow lights! Definitely had them hanging to close. 😶
Never stop learning they say, well I learned something, So thanks growmies R&Fam and J&D for running controls 👊
I hope the ladies will forgive me 😀

GTools The plant is still not recovering from what I estimate to be to much light exposure. There is a clear lack of chlorophyll, and I wonder to what extent it will affect the yield.
The buds however are develpping and there start to be visible trichomes as well as a distinct, quite pleasureable smell ;)

GTools The plant did not fully recover from light stress, but it seems to kick back or at least not die completely ;) The buds are showing a good trichome production and the smell definitely starts to be intense.

GTools Finally, the measures taken to mitigate ligt stress show some effect. leaves are greener, and overall the plant looks better.
The buds start smelling and I observe an increase in trichome production,

GTools Everything is almost back to normal... well almost. Run-off pH is still to high:
Feeding at pH 6,3 an run-off is at pH 7,1!
There is a nice smell and the buds show trichomes, that are still in an early stage.
Some milky ones but overall, most are glassy, and still to small.
She's still drinking a lot, so it won't be finished for at least two weeks!😊

GTools Finally GC is back on the track! but not for long! The cutting window is about to open. There are almost no glassy trichomes left, and there are no amber yet.
Concerning the overall health, the plant managed to fight back. She stll drinks a lot of water, so I will let her finish her days.
I stopped feeding, I only add 1 ml/l of CalMag.

GTools Final days before the cut! I'm starving the plant, by adding no nutrients. The chlorophyll in the remaining fan leaves has substantially dropped. The glitterying trichomes are densely packed and mostly cloudy.
By the beginning of next week, will be the day
@Kirsten, for the feedback 🙏 I got lucky, after an good initial start, I managed to give her too much light, and misinterpreted the yellowing as some nutrient deficiency...😌 That mistake, I will notdo again. Never stop learning. So After 3-4 weeks suffering, I finally found out and took the necessary measure, just hang the light higher 😅
Excited to see your Gorilla Cookies progress! Mine is in week 3 about to start week 4 and first pistils showing now. I topped her at 14 days, and I'm extremely impressed with this so far! I'll definitely stay tuned
Hi thanks for passing by! I'll check out your grow and see how the topping goes, then I can do the same. In general the FB's I've been growing respond well to topping.
