Green Poison & White Widow

This week has essentially been refilling the humidifier daily. I did have an accident in the tent this week, I knocked the white widow over and had to replant her. It was super sketchy as she only had very tiny roots, but she seemd to be thriving. I'm planning on giving them their first watering, but I plan on trying to focus more around the edges of the pot to encourage the roots to search for it. In my previous experiences with using the plastic 1 gallon pots, the watering frequency goes down drastically compared to a fabric pot. That's really all I have for this week. Gave these ladies their first watering at 6.5 pH and they seemed to have loved it. Green Poison's first set of true leaves have an off twist to them, the new growth is fine, almost kind of a crinkle in the leaves opposed to a twist. I also slightly increased the light on these ladies a bit, which will happen pretty much every week until they are set in flower. Nothing additional to add about this week. Another week down and we are growing along. The ladies need to be top dressed soon, so I am contemplating just transplanting them into their final pots, opposed to letting them veg in the small pots for longer.... I do enjoy using the plastic 1 gallon pots for the water retention benefits. Also have been slowly increasing the light on these ladies from week to week. Decided to keep the ladies in the 1 gallon pots and FIM them. Going to let them recover before transplanting them and prepping for flower. First time trying the FIM, in a previous undocumented grow, I ran both white widow and green poison and topped them. So I am excited to try out the FIM technique. A few days after the top dressing I hit them with some more recharge. I plan on letting them veg for a minimum of 6 weeks, but if they are still showing signs of recovering, I'll let them go a bit longer. So far, this grow has been going as smoothly as it possibly could go. They also seem to be adjusting to the unfavorable humidity.... Which is my biggest issue that I've been facing being in a colder climate. However, by the time they reach flower I'll have to dehumidify the room.... Sadly, it appears the FIM did not work, I probably fucked up the cut or, these ladies dont want to be FIMed. I might just grow these ladies out at this point but I am still considering topping. I honestly didnt want to deal with the additional stress as they're nearly ready to flip to flower..... But another two weeks of veg isn't that big of a deal, but I'll have to swap tents and lights.... Have some autos finishing up. I need to transplant these ladies sooner than later. I did let them go a little underwatered on accident, but they recovered the next day. I cleaned them up with a defoliation and got the additional branches eating up the light. Since I fucked up the FIM, I topped them this week. Today is transplant day, they have been in the 1 gallon pots for too long. The ladies have also been transferred over to the 4x4. This grow so far has only been organic inputs, I don't want to top dress them for vegging, but prep for flower... I may give a balanced diet to help with the flip to flower, but will most likely also hit them with some synthetic nutrients to help further promote the stretch during flower as well as boost the microbes. They have been getting recharge roughly every other watering. Despite all of the stress that I have put these ladies through, they seem to be thriving nicely. I also did a handful of dry backs on them, but would never go more than two days. I'm almost positive these ladies are root bound. I've also been lightly defoliating to allow for more light penetration to the lower branches. That's all I have for this week, thanks for all of you that stop by, like and comment! The ladies have been transplanted, both were root bound... Which I knew would happen as I pushed them in the little 1 gallons. The White Widow seems to be recovering nicely from the stress of topping and transplanting. Green Poison is still a little unhappy. Once they fully recover I will lollipop them, LST and most likely flip them to flower by week 8, at least that's the current plan. I did notice a bit of a nitrogen deficiency. I did amend the soil before I transplanted with an even amount of Home Grown and Flower Girl as well as a good amount of Worm Castings... If anyone has any recommendations for quality worm castings in the United States, please let me know... I have been using Wiggle Worm, and I know it's not the highest quality, but I also understand some worm castings is better than none. I've been prepping these ladies for flower. I have lollipoped them, as well as super cropping and some LST. White Widow is on the left, and Green Poison is on the right. I have noticed that Green Poison has a crazy even growth rate with her colas. I did end up snapping one branch and almost dislocating another one directly from the main stem, and had another stem split. Despite the little issues, these ladies are fairly healthy. These ladies have been flipped to flower yesterday (3/30/2025). I'm expecting the White Widow to double in size and the Green Poison slightly under double. I need to top dress them in a week with flowering nutes. Should have some beautiful flowers within 8-10 weeks! That's it for this week, thanks to everyone who stops by, likes and comments!
