My first (micro) grow ever! Chose for the gorilla glue auto! Curious how it will work out! Setup is a 60x60x160 tent with an ufo 135w led! First week want spotless! Although I still have to work on a better working temp... 👍
And I only will be watering the plants if soil is dry because of the LEDs they will need less water I have read! So i'm following that advise! But any tips and trics are always more than welcome!
These pics are the end for week 2!the girls made good progress! Look healthy to me!? Only one of the ladies has a small burn at one of the leaf tips, guessing a little too much nutrients?
Only gave water when top of soil was dried up and only added nutrients for two times this week.
Also bought a thermostat for the keramic heater I had! But left the heater outside of the tent aimed at the tent itself at a safe distance with the sensor of the thermostat at the hight of the girl's inside of the tent keeping it between 19-25°C.
Also started to get visit from little black flies! Bought some biological eels to add in water so they can eliminate future worms to prevent them from eating my roots🤞.
Any tips and tricks welcome! Am I going the right way? Like I'm doing now? Thanks! Till next week!
So this is the end of week 3!
So far so good! Put the temp up a few degrees! Between 21.5 to 26°c! Added a few ml of vita race according to schedule but only added nutriets 2 of the 4 watering moments.
Also I found out that I forgot to plug in the timer for the light! So the first 3 weeks they were on a 24/7 light schedule! They will be going further from today with a 28-6 schedule... So the have a little rest at night!
Don't know if this sudden change will stress them? But we'll see I guess...
Till next week! ✌️
So they grew a lot this week already! Still amazed how fast growing a plant actually goes! Great to see them grow!
Noticed I have to water them more then last week! And skipped a few days of nutrients but I think they still had a little too much! A few leaves have some brown ends, but nothing too serieus I guess! On to week 5!
Ow and great news! I found a second hand cheap 150w ufo led light to accompany my 135w lamp! So their future is looking very bright! 😜✌️
So this week went pretty fine! Bought an extra 150w led! So there is now 285w of light for the girls!
Also I covered the soil with foil! Read this on another forum to stimulate better root grow... Curious to see how that'll work out!
One of the girls showed some red leaf nerves at the start of the week but is now starting to fade away I guess...
And another one had some dried bottem leaves from the heater... Don't know if that'll affect her...
I also turn them around a lot (daily) and switch places (also daily) so maybe that will give them some rest from that heating wind...
As you have noticed the girls have started blooming! Nice smell when opening the tent!
On to the new week! ✌️
So....
This week it was nothing but water! They were little overfed... So only plain water! But yesterday I found out that the soil was a little too dry! So gave them all a liter of plain water, also some of the leafes were somewhat on the crisp side and yellowing. So I indeed fed them too much I guess...
Or it could be because of the heater which is blowing between the pots...? 🤔
Also turned down the heater a little! Now between 21-25°c. Air humid is 33-50%
But the foil over soil thing worked out great! As you can see roots are starting to show!
The still are growing however not that fast anymore so maybe next week thay'll stop? I hope so! Cos I only have 160cm in height minus the leds of course... :)
Yet one day or moment when I go up to check up on them they smell stronger than an other... Why is that?
Anywho! Happy growing! ✌️
So this week I've noticed they have stopped growing! And I now have 2 big sisters and one smaller one!
First 4 days gave them only plain water!, last three days also added 2ml/l of alga bloom.
Added some extra soil on the roots what were showing underneath the tin foil.
Also I tuck away big leaves which are blocking light from a flower. And raised the shorter one to be equal with others...
Got nothing really to add! Till next!
They grow they grow they grow but not in height anymore! Everyday you can see the buds fattening up bit by bit!
Did nothing special! Went from 2 to 3ml of bloom nutrie ta per l. And watered them every day! More roots are showing underneath the tin foil!
Leafes are getting more and more covers in trichomes and sticky as hell! 😜 Till next! ✌️
Not much has changed over the last week! They keep swelli g slowly but more smaller buds are getting bigger now! The top buds are already pretty hard and stickyer! :p see ya later this week mv was a little late on this edit! Grtz! ✌️
Same as last week! Smaller buds are getting bigger! Bigger buds are also getting bigger! But noticed I am overfeeding a little maybe! So I'm going to take it down a little!
Temp was better to control then last week because of the heat!.. It's a lot cooler now here outside! And my attic gets hot fast apparently when the sun is out! ✌️
Not much to tell... Girls are doing good! I guess still 2-3 weeks? And very excited for the result!
Hope the top buds keep on swelling like this! And hope the scent will start smelling like a good stinky dank soon! Curious if my fan will be able to keep it smelly free... 😋
Nothing much to say here...
Only one of the 3 started, the top big leaves are yellowing... Don't know if I might want to start flushen? So stop with the nutrients and only water! Don't know for sure right now... But hope to cut them down in 2 weeks...
This will be my final week! Will only be watering them with plain water! Then I will cut them down and hang them in whole! After a few days I'm going to cut them in smaller branches and dry them further! Don't know what I'm going to do to stress them the last few days! But guessing putting them in the dark would be a good start! Maybe ice watering them a few times before cut-down!? Well see! 😎
Oh and yesterday I split the stem of two plants! Hope to see it work its magic! Because, end of the week, they are going down. So I hope I'll have more to gain than to loose! 😀 (probably)
Ok so I cut them down yesterday!
Left them in the dark for the last two days and no water!
I hung them upside down in whole now and guess I am going to cut them up in smaller branches at the end of the week or so? Don't know for sure yet!
I can almost taste the first harvest! It has a really sweet scent right now! So curious how that will evolve from now...
