Hi growmies,
A new round in the Minigrow One has begun! Let’s see if I’ve truly learned from past mistakes and can keep this lady from growing through the roof. 😆
This time, I’ll be growing Granny’s Home, a stunning strain sent to me by Seedstockers to try out. As someone always on the hunt for new flavors, a GMO strain was high on my list. The sheer diversity of aroma and taste in cannabis never ceases to amaze me, and Granny’s Home checked all the boxes—GMO lineage, gorgeous structure, and a manageable 9-week bloom time. No endless waiting to enjoy the fruits of my hard labor!
To kick things off, I started by germinating four seeds, carefully selecting the strongest one to continue with. Now, it’s time to see how she develops!
Excited to see how this one turns out. Cheers, and keep on growing! 🌱🔥
Granny's Home is off to a great start! 🌱 Since using a humidifier in the Minigrow isn’t an option, I placed a bottle over the seedling as a mini propagator. So far, it's thriving! As soon as the second pair of leaves starts developing, I’ll remove the bottle to let it acclimate. More pics and updates coming later this week—stay tuned!
Removed the bottle and the seedling is growing very well. 15 days left in the growcycle before it switches to 12-12.
Granny's Home is growing well! She has 7 days to go before the Minigrow switches to the blooming schedule and I'm just gonna let her do her thing ✌️. I will top her when she has three internodes and maybe do some LST. Not too much stress though to prevent her from stretching.
Stay tuned for more pics and updates pater this week!
The Minigrow One has switched to the blooming phase yesterday. The plant is still quite small, but this will make sure she will stay nice and compact. Granny is looking nice and healthy overall and the side branches are starting to grow.
After the first week of 12-12 I'm thinking of topping her, not sure it's the right moment though? It was the right thing to go with the default growschedule of the Minigrow. Granny is growing faster by the day, but hopefully she will stop stretching after a week or 2.
Granny's Home is growing faster as we reached the second week of bloom. Leafs are slightly drooping as I gave a bit too much water the last couple of days.
Hey growmies! Things are looking great in the garden. Growth is picking up nicely, and Granny is really taking off! New side branches keep coming in, giving her a beautiful, lush structure. I decided to remove the top fan leaves to give the lower branches some extra light, but luckily, the lower fan leaves could be tucked underneath the side branches—saving me from unnecessary pruning. Just the top fan leaves had to go! 🌿✨
Can't wait to see how she fills out the next few days! Keep you posted!
Granny's Home is showing her first buds! ☘️☘️
The stretch seems to be coming to an end, even though she has grown more than expected over the past few days. To prevent the buds from hitting the lights later on, I’ve tied down the tallest branches to the ScrOG net. The branches have already continued to grow since then, but it looks like the worst of the stretch is behind us ✌️
Hey guys! Granny's Home has officially stopped stretching and is now fully focused on flower development ✌️ I’ve added a bit of Plagron to give her some extra support during this phase. Some of the lower leaves are starting to fade, probably because I held back on nutrients earlier to keep the stretch under control. Overall, I’m happy with how this round is going — she’s stayed nice and compact. Next time I’ll go with a bigger pot and increase the nutrient schedule a bit.
