Sour Diesel (Cascadia Seeds)

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 2 February 19 -we started with 12 and ended with 7.One didn’t pop. Two dampened off and the other two leaves were so twisted they couldn’t photosynthesize -about to finish up the second week and a few them either got burnt/twisted from water lenses/from nutrients in the soil since it’s recycled -first set of leaves were burnt but second set seems to be good and new growth is healthy -will be doing sex testing soon as well see if we have any females

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 3 February 26 - just coasting. A bit small but I didn’t want to feed and stunt them early -will be transferring the females to 1 gal fabric pots when sex tests come back Friday -also will start in with Stash Blend on transplant to help with transplant shock -other than that plants are healthy environment is solid

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 4 March 5 - letting em ride. Transplanted to 1 gallons and only one is showing transplant shock. -Just got the Cloud forge humidifier and set it up and programmed for a VPD between .6-.8 and it’s working good so far -also had the plants sexed so we have 6 females and 1 male great news so I’m keeping the male and put the ladies in bigger pots - have had mad trouble with growth the first few weeks in past grows and it’s because of humidity being far from optimal. Hopefully this alleviates that problem and we see good explosive growth in our future grows. Another lesson learned.

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 5 March 12 -going well. Most of them are either discolored and tacoing tho except for one. -trying to get the watering schedule together as I just realized the soil Was a bit hydrophobic I will treat it or do a soak to get it to take more water but so far the plants seem fine

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 6 March 19 -everything looking good. The plants that were yellowing are gaining some green color back prolly due to the switch in light cycle so the plants can rest. -I have two r ladies dragging behind and one that is significantly underdeveloped but ima let them ride for a while -Im debating on topping but then again I don’t need them to stretch to hell so will probably do so later this week or early next week

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 7 March 26 -Doing a bit of LST just letting them grow keeping the VPD between 1.0-1.1 - Got some tacoing on a few of them but starting to see that’s genetics as the other three are doing well with the temps and humidity -got a runt in the corner here but we are gonna let her ride -also have a sharia law clone from last run and a Cerezaz clone from last run going with these ladies to fill out the tent -looking to trellis these ladies to keep em under control because I can’t flip em yet cause I got a male flowering so it’s gonna be at least 2-3 weeks before I can flip -other than that the tent started smelling like a car garage just oil and fuel hoping for some more sour notes come flower

LilCeeDaWeedGod April 2 Week 8 -Everything looking good put the trellis net up and flipping to 12/12 tonight -Had an issue with a timer and the light was off for a whole day that has been replaced -trying to keep an even canopy with the trellis regarding the stretch. -I know this is a sativa but I’m not sure how bad the stretch will be let’s hope nothing near what the Burmese did

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 9 April 9 -a lot of progress since last weeks flip. She is stretching but it seems manageable right now prolly about to get crazy come next week -did a lil defoliation to open up bud sites to light but that’s all -number 85 and 86 stem rubs have that soap astringent smell to leave and are the loudest outta the bunch - 88 and 86 have great structure the side branches are coming up to fill in the net very well so looking at them for possible breeding in the future -while defoliating the purple stems bleed purple/purplish red. I thought sour d was strictly an all green plant but it may be because this is an f2 generation and these plants are showing recessive traits. We shall see -it’s strictly watering 2 times a week (Sunday and Wednesday) alternating between recharge, stash blend and FPJ. FPJ is top watered in to help break down organic amendments -Just switched to FPJ of a past harvest will use throughout flower to see if it makes a difference compared to PK booster

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 10 April 16 -looking good finishing out the second week of flower -they flipped and started producing buds fast I also don’t think they will stretch too much more -lollipopped them. watering was becoming a pain with all the leaves and extra branches in the way -watered today with Fermented plant juice top and bottom water -also chopped and dropped the leaves for a mulch layer to help further break down amendments. - will probably have to do another top dressing in 3-4 weeks as I did the initial top dressing week 7 of veg

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 11 April 23 - stretch seems to be over and I’ve raised the light to max height so let’s hope -looking good so far no deficiencies other than a bit of light burn/bleach because lights were to close -will be top dressing later this week before a watering -no smells just yet and thankfully as I need to get the temp down in the tent before later in flower

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 12 May 1 -ladies looking good. A bit of light bleach on the middle colas will monitor for steers so I can turn the light down/raise it up -getting sour/citrus smells from 2 and the rest are diesel forward with sour funk -let the swelling begin!

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 12 May 7 -Had to dial the light back as it was bleaching and stressing some tops of the plants and light can’t go any higher -very diesel smell from the tent like standing at a gas station only two are really citrusy with a hint of gas -while one is sour citrus gas more sour citrus than gas/fuel

LilCeeDaWeedGod Week 14 May 14 -peace! So the top leaves are getting some color back now. PPFD was entirely too high ~1200 at the top colas so I basically cut that in half so in the range of ~600-700 and looking great going forward - ladies are stacking and frosting up nicely. Will grab some nug shots later -fungus gnat problem isn’t big still seeing 1-2 gnats in all the tents so it’s prolly the reused soil that’s been sitting outside all winter but at least it’s manageable. -Sticky traps and a peroxide/water solution to the top soil to take care of them. I’ll monitor the population going forward.
