Another round with Seedstockers seeds! 🌱 Initially, I picked this strain just because I liked the name, but after reading more about it, I’m really glad I did! Not only does it produce big, shiny buds, but it also boasts a THC percentage of up to 30%. Whether I’ll hit that mark depends, of course, on genetics, feeding, and the care I put into this grow.
I'm germinating three seeds and will select the strongest one to continue. As in previous grows, I’ll be using Plagron nutrients, which have consistently delivered great results in yield and flavor.

Rucu Cucu OG Auto is the autoflower version of the legendary Rucu Cucu OG, created in collaboration with Seedstockers friend Homer El Mero Mero.
This XXL autoflower results from crossing a selected Tangie pheno with one of the gassiest and most productive OG Kush Autos in the Seedstockers collection. After a long selection process, the OG Kush F5 was crossed with one of the biggest ruderalis plants in our gene pool. We specifically selected plants with minimal ruderalis traits to ensure big genetics, high THC levels, and a strong structure.

Nice! The seeds germinated within a few days, now it's time to pick a seedling for this round. I'll wait another day to see which seedling looks best.
🌿🌿🌿 Mid-week update 🌿🌿🌿
Allright, the first seed to pop also proved to be the most vital one of the bunch. I 'retired' the two remaining seeds and placed the other one in the final pot. I love growing in geotextile pots, it really improves the health of the soil and root system! The seedling looks happy in her new environment. I give small amounts of water during the day at this stage so she doesn't drown.
Rucucucu looks happy in her 15L pot! Yesterday I increased the dimmer to 80%. I usually do this when the second pair of leafs start to grow to give her that extra boost. The soil has enough nutrients for 6 weeks so I only add some Power Roots and Sugar Royal at this stage.
Rucucucu is picking up speed and showing vigorous daily growth. New side branches are steadily emerging, shaping her into a nicely compact and bushy structure. At this rate, LST won't be necessary—her natural shape is already excellent . We'll keep an eye on how she develops during flowering, but so far she's looking promising!

To support her during this stage, I’ve added a small dose of Alga Bloom and Power Buds to the mix. The Plagron Allmix soil still holds plenty of nutrients, so I’m keeping additional feeding minimal.
She’s looking incredibly healthy, with a dense and bushy structure. Beneath the canopy, plenty of side branches are developing nicely—they still have time to grow and will provide solid bud support in the coming weeks.
I’m keeping a close eye on the grow light, making sure it stays as close to the canopy as possible without causing stress. Seedstockers recommend 20 hours of light for this strain, which speaks to her resilience. However, I’ve chosen to stick with 18 hours per day (a girl needs her beauty sleep, right?), and she’s absolutely thriving.
