2-12-25: Soak started!
2-15-25: All 5 popped, and I'm going to plant them, but 2 I don't know about. We'll see!
2-16-25: 2 are up! Hope the rest are tomorrow!
2-18-25: 3 are up, and 4 and 5 were the weakest seeds, and I don't think they're going to go.
2-19-25: #5, the weakest, didn't finish popping bc it's tail fell off. #2 has came up, but no roots yet, and idk about #4. We'll see. #1 and 3 are loving their homes!!
2-20-25: I don't think #4 is going to make it. I'm not gonna throw it out just yet, but I'm not going to focus much energy on it anymore. So, 3 out of 5. Not bad. The 3 are looking nice though!
2-21-25: Day 1! I know I put 3 in a bag already, but I ran out of time so I just dropped it in one of those, to hell with the possible shock. They are looking good. I discarded #4.
2-22-25: #2 is starting to show a little root poking out. It'll be ready for its bag tomorrow!
2-23-25: So, I know #2 looks jacked up... It's just how it's gotta be. One of my other plants was being trimmed up for flower, and the light fell, destroyed the plant so I had to take some dirt for all of the clones I had. But hey! 13 7th gen purple star killer clones!
2-24-25: #1 is starting to definitely show roots. I'll make soil tomorrow and fill up #2 and bag #1
2-25-25: Slacking. I didn't put #1 in a bag. Made a decent amount of soil today so it'll be in one tomorrow. The others are doing well.
I apologize for the long wait. I had some technical issues and wasn't able to update, but I took pics every day
2-26-25: They are all in the bags and still on water. Gotta get that #3 tag and make a new one
2-27-25: Got that label...
2-28-25: Week 2 begins!
3-1-25: Moved several ladies to the flower room so I rearranged.
3-2-25: They are doing well!
3-3-25: #1 is showing some odd leaf growth. I'll be checking it out in the morning.
3-4-25:
3-5-25: #1 had an off pH. I guess some of the soil didn't get flushed well enough. I flushed it with abt 4 gallons of pHed water at 6.3.
3-6-25: #1 is doing better!
3-7-25: #1 is doing nicely. She's coming along. I forgot to get pics.
3-8-25: They are doing great! After flushing #1, it has straightened out and the new leaf is looking normal.
3-9-25: Finally, visible change! #1 is doing great!
3-10-25: I'm giving up my veg room for a couple of friends, so I am transitioning everything into a 4x4.
3-11-25: I got them into the tent. It's a bit crowded. I just starting to root the next generation of purple star killer, so, they are all gonna have to deal with it.
3-12-25: I am very skeptical about tents... Ya, environment blah blah blah... A tent is self limiting. I can fill up a 4x4 with a single plant, and I'm spoiled to two 10x12s... Good deeds never go unpunished, I suppose 🤷 c'est la vie
3-13-25: Im noticing some yellow in the leaves of #3, so nutrients will need to be started tomorrow. #1 is coming back with a vengeance, and #2 is doing very well. They seem to like the tent. That makes one of us 😂 And my End Game I've been playing with is really loving it, but unfortunately will be the entire tent soon so changes still need to be made. My flower room is 10x11, and it's wall to wall and probably 7' deep. The tent has no chance lol
Also, I've not said what my technically hydroponic grow medium is made of, and no time like the present! My measurements are in handfuls. I'm sorry 🤷. The list is: Primer Peet Moss x10, evergreen compost x3, chunk coco coir soaked in a 300ppm mild nutrient mix 1 brick, coco coir fiber mat with maybe a 5" x 5" piece pulled apart for cohesion, 3ish cups of perlite, a pound of Sta green earth worm castings, a medium sized pinch of bone meal and same of blood meal, 1/3 cup of terp tea powdered, and about half a bag of dynomyco mycorrhizal inoculant. I'll add 2 or 3 gallons of water pHed to 6.3 then let it dry out for a day and it's ready to use
I apologize for the discontinuity that's going to be very obvious. I took in a couple neighborhood kids, got them back healthy again, clean bills of health, and sent them on their way.
3-14-25: #1 is looking a lot better. The flush seemed to cure it and it's bouncing back nicely. #3 is starting to show a little yellowing on the bottom leaves, so the nutrients will be starting today
3-15-25: They are generally doing well, but #3 is still showing some yellow. If the nutrients don't fix it, I'll flush it in a couple of days.
3-16-25: Flushed #3. The pH was really off. Fingers crossed!
3-17-25:
3-18-25: #3 is doing better!
3-19-25: They are all looking great, other than they are in a tent with no real ventilation. Yay Midwest humidity of 70% RH regularly!
3-20-25:
3-21-25: #3 pH was way off. I don't think I did more than take a picture and make sure it wasn't dead
3-22-25: Flushed #3
3-23-25: #3 is coming back quickly!
3-24-25: #1 and #3 are doing well. They're coming back pretty vibrant
3-25-25:
3-26-25:
3-27-25:
3-28-25:
3-29-25:
3-30-25:
3-31-25: Big skip ahead, I know, and I apologize. The kids left, and I got my room set back up, so from here on, they'll be in their old room.
4-1-25: All of them are noticably bigger. #2 has taken the lead, and #3 is still small.
4-2-25: They are all showing some humility issues. We have had a ton of storms lately, and the entire house humidity is going up.
4-3-25: They are all looking better, but not flower time yet. The bad conditions are gonna hold them back.
