Chucky324 Hello. This is the start of the Mac and Crack diary. Got these seeds a few years ago to use for breeding. Got 6 Fast Buds photoperiod femininized plants started to make seeds with out in the greenhouse. I'm also going to enjoy growing the females. Great taste description for this strain, it's citrus biscuit. I like biscuits with lots of butter. I'll be looking for the best male to make seeds with. The traits I look for in a male are... Shorter is important but not the most important. Needs a good smell with the rub the stem test and smell your fingers and needs to be sticky with the same test. It's important to have the smell last a while on the fingers, minutes, not disappear in seconds. Same with the stickiness, it needs to be there for minutes. And the male needs to have lots of flowers, not just a few, to be a good male. Always looking for a good strong female, so these females will be finished up inside and the best one will be cloned and regrown again. Looking forward to growing this strain. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of the germination phase and the start of week 1. Got an interesting valentines card from my wife this year. Got rid of some clones and these little plants have got their own tent now. It's a little cold in the garage, so there's a heater in the tent. Keeps it around 22c in the daytime. I used some hand made stem holders. They are stretching for the light. I like copper, it doesn't rust. I don't mind longer stems for now. I just bury them a little deeper when I transplant. They will grow roots out of their stems when there is soil against it. OK. Keep growing Straight. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of veg. They all got some food last week and perked up after that. They also got some friendly fungus and microbes for their roots. Saw some little brown spots on one of the plants, turned over a leaf and saw a thrips, Western Flower I think, light brown. Great, Now I have to treat for thrips. I'll just try some dish soap in water, and a bit of ISO alcohol, in a spray bottle, to start with. The soap will not let them breath, get in their lungs, and the alcohol will dry them out. A double whammy for them. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of veg. Poor little plants. I saw some white spots on a few plants and thought it must be the thrips that are in another tent and got over here. So I sprayed with some End All by Safer's. But the little plants didn't like the magnesium salts that were in it, and turn a little yellow. So I thought I would get rid of the thrips with beneficial bugs, so I had to rinse these little plants with water to try to get rid of any residue. Got some soil beneficial bugs in all the cups with a spoon and put the canopy mites in open jars and put them near the plants too. So, hopefully, I'll be rid of the bad bugs in a few weeks. I still have to put out yellow sticky strips at bench height to get any adults before laying eggs. And hopefully these little plants will look a bit better next week when you look in. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of veg. I'm so glad these plant look better than last week. I was wondering what I'm going to do if they die. But they look sooo much better. Next watering they will get 1/2 teaspoon of Wollammo see pics. Found some old dirty Blondie comics. Not too dirty I hope. On the web there are drawings of Blondie doing outrageous sex acts, but I'm not going to show them here. Look them up for yourself. I have to write a new nutrients list each week now, It wouldn't be bad if I had like 3 things to write down, but I use 8 to 9 things each feeding. So I don't want to redo it each week..., so I won't. How do you feel about rewriting your list each week? OK. Be Cool/ Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of veg. These plants will need to be topped soon, but I'll wait till they tell me their sex. I'm looking for a good male to make seeds with. But I'm also looking forward to growing out the females too. I'm going to pollenate the feminized Fast Bud strains I'll have growing in the greenhouse this summer. Want some free seeds for doing a diary on them? I'll send you some for free if your interested... contact me in the fall... I make good stuff. I've tested some and made diaries on them. Pinoal Kush and Northern Lemnesia are my seeds. And I'll also pollinate my best clones too. Need a good male though. The plants are doing well. All seem to be reaching up to the light, so I turned up the Viper Spectra Light from 25% to 50% They should take off now. I'll keep an eye on them so they don't burn. Got the fan turned up to strengthen the stems and keep the taller plants shorter with micro splits in the stem. The scar tissue strengthens the stems, I should be able to take out the copper stem supports now. The stems look strong enough. Ok. Have Fun Out There. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of veg. The plants are doing well and looking healthy. The taller ones are probably males. Want to repot these by next report, into 1 gallon pots. They should really get going then. Started a new/old comic for your viewing pleasure. Called Weirdo #10 and was printed in 1993. Something different, and strange. I think you'll like it. Made by Robert Crumb and other underground artist. Looked quickly and found no female or male flowers. I'll check again next week. They usually don't show their sex/flowers until the 8th to 10th week, although they can put out flowers earlier but it's not common. OK. Have fun Out There. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. Did some sexing of these plants last week. The first 4 plants I looked at were females. Picked up the taller one in the back to find it loaded in pollen sacks. It was topped to slow the flowering down. So, the last 3 plants I checked are still undecided. It looks like there will be 2 more males and a female by the little tiny flowers stubs that are forming.. But they need another few days before they show me their sex. I hope to get the Fast Buds plants out of the tent into the greenhouse within the next week or so and then repot these plants into bigger pots. That will give me more room for these plants to get bigger in veg in 1 gallon pots. The 13 plants of Captain Future I have flowering, still needs 4 more weeks to finish, before there is a flowering tent available. But I'm hoping to use one of these males for pollenating out in the greenhouse this summer. OK. Have Fun Out There. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Man... Have got to get these plants into bigger pots, but I've been busy getting the LemonPaya and RainBow Melon diaries going outside. Getting the greenhouse ready and transplanting them. And I dug 1 of my garden beds yesterday. So I'll get to them this week and top them and transplant them into 1 gallon pots. They have all shown their sex now... I have 5 females and 3 males. One male is very fast but has very little smell. Time will tell for the others. I was hoping for more males to chose from to make seeds this summer, but you've got to work with what your given. The other males have a nice smell to them. OK. Have Fun Out There. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. Missed reporting last week, but I got them topped and repotted. Had to take one of the males out to the greenhouse because it won't slow down on it's flowering. I've got females, flowering on week 8, so I don't need pollen floating around the basement. The other males aren't doing as well in their flowering. Topped the 5 females and they look good. Throwing out the branches now that will be trained. Still about 3 weeks before I can get these females into a bigger tent. after I've harvested the 13 female plants of Captain Future.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 11 and the beginning of week 12 of veg. It will still be a couple of week's before I can get these into a tent and repot them. I've got to finish my Captain Future diary first, then they can go in there. The pants are doing good and the females are making many branches to work with now that they have been topped. I took 1 male out to the greenhouse because I've got flowering plants not to far from the tent and it was flowering and had many flowers. The other male is more smelly but has got hardly any flowers. So I'm waiting to see how the 3rd male looks in a week or 2. It's not flowering now and maybe its one that needs to go under 12/12 to flower. I'll have a look later. Might not make seeds this summer if these males don't get better traits. But All's Well over all. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 13 and the beginning of week 14 of veg. I didn't report last week because I was still harvesting the 13 Plants of Captain Future. But we're back on track now. These plants will be repotted into bigger pots and put in a bigger tent by next report. I'm not liking the 3 males that I got with these regular seeds, so I don't think I'll make my own seeds this year. Disappointed really. But I'm not just going to make seeds just because I can. I want to make good seeds, so I need a good male to start with. Oh well, take life as it comes... and then move on... Oh Well... Take a chance and... Be Great... Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 17 and the beginning of week 18 of veg. I was disappointed with this strain. I bought it for the males to do breeding. But the best male, with the most flowers, didn't have any smell or resin with the rub the stem test. So I kept them alive but didn't do a report on them. I reread the seed description and thought I'd start reporting again. I'll repot them this week and they can start to flower when the light is the right length. I'm not taking clones so I'll have to reveg one of two of them if I find a good one. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 18 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. Give the plants more light and they will grow. The plants sure have shot up since I've brought them out to the greenhouse. I've repotted them, so, they should take off now. They got 15 L pots, with lots of room for the roots. I'll write up the nutrients... next week. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week... Can you believe it... 21 and the beginning of week 22 in veg. A few more weeks and they will start to show flowers, I'm hoping. I started these seeds at the same time as my other 2 dairies that are flowering now. LemonPaya and RainBow melon are almost finished with 3 weeks to go. I'll let these plants flower under natural light and harvest around Oct... I imagine. The plants sure have taken off since they were put out here. They will be hitting the roof in a few weeks. 😃 OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the end of week 21 and the beginning of week 22 of veg. Started these plants in Feb. looking for a male to make seed with. Didn't work out. Oh well... These 5 females are taking off now. 2 are almost touching the ceiling. Got to trim up these plants. They are going through too much water with them breathing (transpiring) in the hot greenhouse. Almost finished with filling my wood shed. Just a few more days and it will be full. Got mostly Arbutus this year... Good burning wood. Burns hot with not much ash. Just a few more weeks and these plant will be put up front, replacing the ones that will be harvested in 2 weeks. With these plants being harvested in Oct sometime OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of flowering. I can see... in the pics... that plant #3 is starting to flower. Tied to get pics of the other plants starting to flower but they didn't show well. These plants will go into the front part of this greenhouse after I've harvested the LemonPaya and RainBow Melon starting next week. These plants are taking over this end. Almost growing out the roof vents. Not much smell off these plants now. I'll do some trimming of these plants this week. Take off some fanleaves and some sucker branches and open them up in the middle for better air flow and tie them up a bit so the future big buds don't pull the branches over. Yeah.. I'll try to get to that this week, some time. I'll post my flowering nutrients next week. Same as my other diaries if you want to look. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This the end of the 1st week and the start of the 2nd week of flowering. Just a fast entry... I'm starting harvesting of the front 1/2 of this greenhouse tomorrow. So, I'm getting ready for that. These plants have still got 6 or 7 weeks of flowering to go still. These plant will go in the front of the greenhouse when I'm finished with the harvest in there. Did a stock rub test of these plants and the smell reminded me of the good old days of buying land race pot. It smelled like The Columbian sativa from the 1970's... mmm wonderful. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

@Chuckwaggon420, Hi Buddy. Males are hard to keep... Most will go into flowering under 18 hours of light dumping lots of pollen where they are and once they flower they don't go back into veg very well. They need to be in a room far from the females but I can still bring the pollen in on my shoes or clothes to the flowering females. I find I like to find a good male and use that plant once to fertilize some of the good female's branches. If I ever find a great male I'll try to clone it and use it again. I've read.. that a breeder had found a great male and it was tested at 27% and had visible resin crystals on it's leaves. That's the type of male I'd put effort into saving.
