Alscotty Stopped with the Cal/mag and no longer using pH up/down...apparently PROMIX HP MYCO has limestone which serves as a buffer and maintains soil pH between 5.5-6 providing optimum uptake of nutrients...however, if you use an acid based pH up/down this causes the limestone to degrade quickly, which in turn can cause excess mag and high pH fluctuations...anyone have any experience/comments...peace!

Alscotty I'm back...unfortunately I was away for many weeks but the girls are doing ok and are now almost 10 days into flower...there are tons of bud sites and i performed one last tuck and weave scrog session, now it's time to let the magic begin... I have an ongoing issue with thrips but I've introduced some predators and have taken steps to keep them in check...all seems to be going well...knock on wood...lol👍

Alscotty will harvest the other Critical later this week..this girl was harvested after 76 days of flowering...her aroma is complex and really hard to describe...I waited for some amber trichomes so she is nice and sticky with an almost creamy earth like hashy sweetness lol...and despite an ongoing thrip problem she still managed a half decent yield: 1:
The second Critical+ weighed in at 4.6 oz wet...total dry weight for both plants even after smoking at least 1/2 oz in samples etc was still a respectable 4.4oz
Critical+ buds are very easy to trim and the stems are quite thin...she dries up into really nice dense nugs...
Critical+ reminds me of old school land race strains in a really good way...her aroma is super complex and no doubt about it she's a heavy hitter who comes on fast and strong then levels off into a nice long relaxing buzz👍
Another Critical+ adventure up and running on the grow diary platform 💜
Let's see what you can do with our flagship lady 👍
Good luck my friend. We will be watching with interest 👊
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@Alscotty, Sorry to read about the "thrip" issue mate 🤨
Are you attacking this problem with any pesticides or predators?
Good luck with the battle mate ✌️
Until next time 👍
All the best
Mark..
I would say 10 maybe 14 more day's and it will be harvest time mate 👍
@Alscotty Would you agree my friend?
Our Critical+ looking phenomenal and on track for a very nice harvest 👌
Keep the updates coming please mate as harvest is approaching fast😏
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, yes totally agreed👍...the aroma is getting stronger and the buds have fattened up nicely👌 hoping for some amber trichs within the next week or so!
By the look of things the lower leaves are starting to fade and yellow up which is typically a sign that harvest is getting closer 👍
The plants are using up the stored energy in those leaves, using it to create those flowers which look to be stacking up quite well 👌
What type of smells are you getting from our Critical+ my friend?
Also, do you have a harvest date in mind?
All the best ✌️
Mark..
You need to dial those nutes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down bro that is an insane amount of nutes. Your leaves are cooked through almost the whole grow.
I grow I with REMO. I use
15ml micro
15ml bloom
15ml astro flower
15 ml natures candy in a 5 gallon pail of RO water ALL THROUGH BLOOM.
Thats 60 mls per 5 gallons your throwing 240 mls per 5 gallons at those little guys.
You have droopy plants, nitrogen toxicity, burnt tips, burnt edges etc.
Your doing your plants more harm then good. Cut your nutrients in half and you'll be glad you did.
