This will be my 3rd grow with Spliff Seeds genetics. I've been eyeing this one for awhile so I was pretty excited to see it when it arrived. I'll be running this lady in a 2 gal fabric pot with Roots Organic Soilless coco mix.
This week I will introduce some light nutrients into the mix this week. Should see some decent growth this week if all goes well.
Day 11- Seems to be going slower than normal. Hopefully it'll straighten up soon.
So I'm kind of at a loss with this one. She's really advancing slowly. She one left set behind all the others in the grow. She's also behind the back up plant I started at the same time. Hopefully it's just a slow starting pheno.
Day 17 - I'm going to start tracking my back up Spliff Cheese Automatic also, since this one is being really odd.
Day 19 - in a last ditch effort to save the sc plant I topped it. I think the plant was struggling to keep the twisting mutated main alive. The leaves were starting to droop and discolor a little. A couple hours after topping the leaves are responding well so hopefully I'll get something out of the 1st and 2nd nodes.
Well if you missed it last week I decided to just cut of the mutated main basically topping it at the 2nd node. The plant was really struggling but is now showing forward movement with solid growth at each node. The sc2 plant is coming on very strong and should be a nice little plant.
Well it would apear this girl is about hit beast mode. I really don't know what to expect from the 1st and 2nd nodes but I'm about to find out. Hopefully I'll get some decent side branching. The SC2 is also coming on strong.
The main plant has really stepped up the growth. This week should be no different. Starting to see some nice potential on this little lady. For a rough start she's looking good now.
Since the original plant I started with has pulled through I will stop tracking the back up plant. This girl is going strong still. I expect her to finish her stretch this week.
She's really starting to fill out nicely now. She's now in flower beast mode. Her trichome production has definitely been stepped up also. She also started to get her cheese funk.
I will continue to flush her about every other day until she finishes. I would say the trichomes are around 10% amber at the moment. She's a big time trichome producers, should press well.
Well this little lady had a rough start but with a little help she thrived. At around the end of week 2 the main started to twist and look mutated and the plant was struggling. I decided to top it at the 2nd and hope for the best. I think the results speak for themselves. I did a little hst right after she finished stretching and she didn't miss a beat. She ended up producing some really dense and sticky flowers. Overall I really had a blast running this strain.
Everything with the harvest went as planned. I harvested with the trichomes at about 10% amber. It will hang dry at 50-55% humidity for about 5-7 days. Then it will be cured for a month. The cure complete and the smoke is pretty damn good. You'll get a strong skunk/fuel and berry smell when you grind it up. That berry smell comes through in the taste. It seems like a good hybrid balance. Definitely check it out.
Ahhhhhh yeahhhh !! It's always nice to see a new sprout come out ! Best of luck on this grow brotha , I'll be back next week to check in on her !!!
