Mr_Anonym 21.02.2025 (Week 1 - Germination & Setup) New grow run – this time with Sour Ripper Auto from Ripper Seeds! đŸ’„đŸŒ± I'm testing a Living Soil setup again with FLO soil, but this time with an additional living ground cover of red and white clover. The goal is to keep the soil biologically active permanently and to nourish the plants organically. đŸŒżđŸ”„ --- Setup & Conditions: 💡 Light: Sanlight Q Gen2 165W (120 cm distance during the germination phase) đŸŒ± Medium: FLO Living Soil (biologically active, no-till) đŸŒŸ Ground cover: Red and white clover for nitrogen fixation and soil care

Mr_Anonym In the first week, a lot has happened! The Sour Ripper Auto is already showing strong development. The clover has successfully germinated and now nicely covers the soil surface, which is perfect for the living soil project. Temperatures: Constant between 20–27°C Humidity: 65–75%, optimal for the early growth phase Observations: The plant is standing stable and shows healthy green leaves. The clover not only provides vibrant ground cover but also supports soil life and nutrient supply.

Mr_Anonym The Sour Ripper Auto is showing great development! The first real leaves are here, and the plant is growing strong. The clover is exploding and providing a healthy soil structure in the Living Soil. Light: 50 cm distance, plant is growing compact and healthy Temperature: 27–31°C, slightly elevated, exhaust is being optimized Humidity: 75–82%, gradually being lowered Observations: ✅ Strong leaves, rich green color – no deficiencies visible ✅ Clover improves soil & retains moisture ✅ No signs of stress or overwatering

Mr_Anonym General Condition: The Sour Ripper has gone through a big change this week, as the main stem has completely broken off. This is a significant disruption to the plant's growth structure, but it is showing resilience. Side branches are starting to take over, and the plant is adapting to the new growth form.

Mr_Anonym Development: Despite the broken main stem, the Sour Ripper has held up well. The side branches are visibly taking the lead, and the flower clusters are continuing to develop. The overall growth shows good vitality, and it is handling the light lollipopping and defoliation well.

Mr_Anonym The plant has continued to develop well and is now in the middle of the flowering stage. The buds have become denser, and the pistils are continuing to increase. Thanks to the lollipopping and light defoliation, the plant can better concentrate its energy on the upper buds. The structure remains airy and stable, allowing for good ventilation.

Mr_Anonym The Sour Ripper is currently showing very dynamic growth in the flowering stage. Long, dense colas with good resin production and a lot of white pistils. It looks very vigorous and has an even structure with strong stretch. Especially noticeable is the strong lateral branching, which already shows many potential bud sites. The typical sour aroma is starting to show slightly – very pleasantly lemony-sour. Once, Madam Grow was also given here, but it only caused very slight tip discoloration – nothing serious. Currently, it's being switched to clear water to avoid burn.

Mr_Anonym The plant looks vibrant, showing strong flower development on the main and side branches. Buds are compact and are starting to beautifully cover themselves with trichomes (many milky, some clear trichomes). Most leaves are still healthy, only a few slightly burnt tips are visible (no serious stress). The stretch is complete, and the plant is now fully putting its energy into flower ripening. Pistils are slowly changing color from white to orange, and the buds are noticeably hardening. Visually, it gives a very stable and robust impression.

Mr_Anonym The Sour Ripper is progressing well. The buds are visibly densifying, and the pistils are increasingly turning orange. New fresh white hairs are now only sporadically present. The trichomes are mostly milky, with a few clear ones and the first signs of amber. The plant remains compact and shows slight signs of ripeness, while the upper leaves are minimally yellowing. Currently, only clear tap water is being given to keep things clean for the last few weeks.

Mr_Anonym The Sour Ripper continues to show stability in the final flowering phase. The buds have gained more volume and are now dense and resinous, with a nice mix of white and already darker-colored stigmas. First amber trichomes are visible, but most are still milky – it's approaching the optimal harvest time. The smell is intensely sour and slightly fruity, typical for Sour strains. The stretch is completely over, and the plant remains compact and well-structured. It will likely be among the first ready for harvest. I'm expecting the perfect timing within the next 5–7 days.
