Appoldro420 Intro: Welcome to my latest grow experiment! 🌿 This time, I’m running 3x Dosidos Auto (Royal Queen Seeds) in 30L fabric pots, sharing a tent with my Chocolate Haze photoperiods. The twist? These autos will be on a 12/12 light schedule from start to finish—something that's usually not ideal for autos. The goal? Can autoflowers still reach their full potential (400g/m²) under a 12/12 cycle, just like they would under an 18-hour schedule? 🤔 I’ll be using Action coco as the medium, Plagron Cocos A&B + Calmag Pro for nutrients, and Blumat drippers to keep watering consistent. Follow along to see if these Dosidos Autos can thrive and maximize yield despite the reduced light exposure! 💪🔥 👉 Will 12/12 work, or will yield take a hit? Let’s find out! 👀 Stay tuned, drop your thoughts in the comments, and let’s grow together! 🌱🚀 #AutoflowerExperiment 🌱🔬 #12vs18LightCycle 💡⏳ #DosidosAuto 🚀🔥 #RoyalQueenSeeds 👑🌿 #CocoGrow 🥥🌱 #PlagronNutrients 💧🌿 #MaxYieldChallenge 📈💪 #BlumatDrip 💦🔄 #IndoorGrowTent 🏕️🌿 #GrowDiaries 📖🌱 #AutoflowersUnder12Hours 🤔💡 #CannabisCommunity 🌍🔥 26/02: All 3 are up but one is half (1 leaf)... 01/03 number 3 is complete again... Appoldro420 Veg Week 1 – We Have Lift-Off! 🚀 The babies are officially in their first week of veg, and they’re off to a strong start! 🌿💚 A solid set of true leaves is coming in, and they seem happy in their coco medium. pH is at 5.6, EC is 1.7—a little high for their age, but they’re sharing the nutrient reservoir with more mature plants to keep everything on track for a synchronized finish. 📸 Observations from the grow room: ✔️ Vibrant new growth showing steady development. ✔️ Good leaf structure and compact spacing—no signs of stretching. ✔️ Slight yellowing and crispy edges on lower leaves—likely minor nutrient burn from the higher EC. ✔️ Blumats keeping the coco moist, ensuring consistent hydration. 💡 Next Steps: 🔹 Monitor leaf response to the EC—expecting them to adjust as roots develop. 🔹 Ensure proper moisture balance to avoid overwatering, since young roots still need oxygen. 🔹 Keep pH steady and possibly raise to 5.8 as growth progresses. 🔹 No training planned—letting them grow naturally to match the cycle of the older plants. Looking forward to watching them thrive over the next week! 🚀 Any other growers running mixed-age plants in the same system? Would love to hear your experiences! 👇🔥 #GrowDiaries #CocoGrow #CannabisCommunity #HealthyPlants 🌱

Appoldro420 16/03: Grow Update 🌱 – Autos Taking Off! Another week in, and the autos are doing great! They’re growing surprisingly fast, almost catching up to my Chocolate Haze despite the age difference. I’m really curious to see their final size. Luckily, they have their own space, so I can position the lights perfectly to give each plant its own optimal lighting. The plant in the photo is still a bit small, but she’s got a thick stem already. I’m guessing it’s just a slightly different phenotype. She’s getting the same feeding and treatment as my Chocolate Haze, so no need to repeat that here—this is just a side project anyway. Re-evaluating autos on 12/12… Yes, it works! Lower yields, but way less electricity usage. Auto seeds are usually more expensive, but the strain selection is much bigger. I keep seeing autos on GrowDiaries that I’d love to try, but then I think: 18 hours of light… I’d go broke! 😅 Obviously, that’s an exaggeration, but I’d really love to see if these can yield comparably to photoperiod plants. Let’s find out! 🚀 #GrowDiaries #Autoflowers #HomeGrow #12on12off #CannabisCommunity 22/03: Nice grow but still a bit light colored.. Raised EC a bit

Appoldro420 30/03: Missed last week’s update, but here we are! The girls are coming along nicely, growing fast despite being under a 12-hour lighting schedule. First pistils have appeared on 2 out of 3 plants, so flowering is officially underway! The color is looking vibrant, with no major signs of stress or deficiencies. I’ve been cautious with nutrients since I’ve heard autos can be sensitive to high doses, but so far, they seem to be handling it well—no signs of overfeeding. The structure is getting bushy, with lots of healthy new growth. A little bit of lower leaf yellowing, but nothing concerning—probably just natural shedding as they focus on flowering. Excited to see how they develop over the next week! 31/03: Just added some images 03/04: Still going strong... largest is already 70 cm

Appoldro420 🌱 DoSiDos Auto (RQS) - Mid Bloom Update Light Schedule: 12/12 from seed Medium: Coco bricks Grow style: Low effort, natural grow Companions: Chocolate Haze photoperiods Stage: Mid-bloom, ± 3 weeks left Feeding: Same as photoperiods, EC gradually increased 🔍 Mid Grow Reflections This DoSiDos Auto grow is more of a side-quest — tossed in late, under a 12/12 light schedule meant for photoperiods. The aim? Get some bonus buds with as little extra effort as possible. So far, the results are promising. Despite the non-ideal conditions for an autoflower, the DoSiDos kept pushing. One stretched impressively tall — towering above the photoperiod ladies, though a bit less bulky. Early flowering was slow and airy, but in the past weeks she started stacking nicely. Structure’s a bit looser than usual for this strain, but she's catching up. There was some leaf yellowing on one plant, likely due to a dry zone from the Blumats, which has since been corrected. Other than that: smooth sailing. No training, no topping, just feeding and watching her do her thing. Nutrients & Environment EC slowly ramped up from 1.3 to 2.1 Temperature stabilized around 30°C Minimal air extraction to preserve CO₂ Humidity slightly elevated — ideal for flower development 🔮 What’s Next? With about three weeks to go, she's still swelling up. The aroma is starting to kick in, and buds are gaining mass. Not the densest grow ever, but for a side project on 12/12? Pretty damn satisfying. Final verdict coming soon — but for now: hands off, lights on, and let her ride it out. 🌸💨
