This time I have the beautiful Bubble Kush (aka. Babba Kush) variety from Royal Queen Seeds. 😍
So that it will grow big and strong one day, we have to start small.
That's why I let the seed germinate using the paper towel technique and in 3 days it was already on to the next phase.
Step-by-step: 🚧
As you can see in the photos, I kept the seed slightly moist with a tissue on a flat plate. And covered it with a deep plate that served as a dome, slightly offset (so that the air can circulate a little). The seed spent a whole 3 days in the dark until the root was about 1-2 cm long and ready for the next phase.

After the seed germinated, I planted it with the root facing downwards. In a 0.7 liter pot with BioBizz LightMix. Watered once deeply with water (approx. 0.2L.) And repeated after 3 days. (Water PH: 6.9)

Grow_Mary_Green Basically the same as last week. Keep watering. Keep an eye on the environment and the plant. Increased the DLI & PPFD a bit this week.

Continue watering with water (approx. 0.2L.) And repeated after 3 days. (Water PH: 6.9). Increased DLI to 15mol and PPFD to approx. 180µmol.

This week I repotted the cutting into an 8 liter fabric pot with BioBizz All-Mix. 🌱
I also gave it 2ml of BioBizz Root-Juice to 0.5 liters of water (PH: 6.3). 💪
In addition, I increased the light intensity to DLI: 20mol & PPFD: approx. 230µmol 💡
And after 3 days I watered it again with 0.5 liters of water (PH: 6.9). 🚿

Grow_Mary_Green This week I used the following techniques:
- Defoliation and Fimming
Watered with 1.5 liters every 2-3 days.
I had to do Fimming a second time at the end of the week... because it was molding on top. I had just cut it, which caused liquid to accumulate on top and led to the mold.
(Didn't pay attention 😅)
For the second time, I cut it a bit at an angle and hope everything works out.
Due to its strong growth, it shows signs of nutrient deficiency. This can happen and should actually stabilize again. Just to be safe, I gave it some BioBizz bloom & Top Max. Since the micronutrients might already be lacking in the small pot.
If it continues to grow this strongly, I’ll unfortunately have to move it from the drain to the floor.
