Afghan hash regular

Captain_7 Two regular Afghan Hash Plants from Barney’s are on their way! Growing one out in organic soil and the other in coco with automated watering with regular hydro nutes. Probably General hydroponics line. Will likely just top and spread the plant out. Using regular seeds I’m hoping for twin girls. Only time will tell. Off to a decent start although they needed help shedding the seed coat. HAVe the soil play in its final spot. Will get the coco plant in once she’s got a bit bigger. Cheers.

Captain_7 Good second week. Coco is much bigger than soil, clearly coco with regular nutes leads to faster growth. Maintaining a high humidity and keeping temps as high as I can is also surely helping the growth. Very happy for week two. Plan on topping when the 6th of leaves start coming out, should be at the end of this week. Just watching them grow for now. Cheers!

Captain_7 Good week. Coco plant growing really well. Topped her once and will start holding down the arms when they get big enough. Leaves are fat as anything, real indica showing through. #2 in soil is much smaller, now work done on it yet. Not sure if it’s the soil type or the plant. Leaning towards the soil type.

Captain_7 Good week. Just some decent veg time. Tied down some arms to spread her out and get lots of light. Flipped to flower yesterday so let the show begin. As these are regulars here’s to hoping for two girls! Cheers

Captain_7 Short update. I struck out with two male plants. Have to chop these guys down before they ruin my northern lights.

Captain_7 Closing off this diary because they were both males. I’m a bit bummed out but statistically my remaining seeds have a better chance of being female now! 5/8 chance instead of 5/10! The genetics seem very solid. The fan leaves were huge and fat, 100% indica no doubt. Looking forward to getting another round of these in the ground once my northern lights finish up! Cheers!
