FeebleSnane I bought 4 seeds from Blimburn a couple weeks ago, and only had 1 of 4 sprout. I took out the seeds and seedling from the soil, and planted these 4 seeds from FastBuds in their place. I found someone's interpretation of a Cannakan online, and decided to print it out and give it a try. It leaked a very small amount of water over the 48h the seeds sat in there, but overall I'd say it did a great job germinating the seeds. I didn't use a coffee filter or anything to put under the seed, but they all popped just fine. Each plant is in a 3g pot with 100% HP Promix. No additional nutrients were amended into the soil, but I did use a little bit of myco in each one. I'll be hand watering the plants for the first 10-14 days, and then I'll start filling the self-watering bases. Hopefully the plants get to a good size within about 4 weeks of veg, maybe 5, because I want to scrog it out pretty low and switch to flower before they get too tall for the 5 foot tent.

FeebleSnane Today is day 7 since the plants sprouted. I've been pretty hands-off this week since they're just starting out, and I've just been keeping the soil wet with plain water. Yesterday I had some leftover water with some CalMag and worm tea, so I used the last little bit to dampen the soil for these seedlings. This coming week I'll start using the General Hydroponics 3 part series for nutrients since I didn't amend the soil with any. All the seedlings look healthy and happy. The only things I've noticed are some light spots on the leaves of #1, and #2 had the tips of the first leaves turn a little brown, but that didn't seem to get any worse. Right now #2 is the tallest at 3 inches, and #4 is the shortest at just under 2 inches.

FeebleSnane Today is day 15 since the plants sprouted. The past week was uneventful for the plants. I started using nutrients in my water this week, but only about ~400ppm. I use the General Hydroponics 3-part series so we'll see how the plants like it. I added water to the self-watering bases this week, so the plants should start hitting a big growth spurt in the next week or two. Nothing too exciting to report this week in this tent.

FeebleSnane Today is day 21 since the plants have sprouted. Overall, things are chugging along nicely. I've been going a little hard on the nutrients apparently, because I'm seeing some claws/hooks forming on a couple of fan leaves. I'll give the plants some plain water this week and it should be fine. The plants have been getting around ~650ppm at 6.3-6.4ph, so when I feed them again I'll probably bring it down a touch. Plant #1 has the furthest development so far with 3 nodes grown in and a 4th almost poking out. Plant #4 is the slowest in development with only 3 nodes grown in, and just now getting to the 4th. Plant #4 is also the shortest at 5.5 inches. I filled the self-watering bases last week, but the plants haven't quite grown into them yet. Hopefully they'll get deeper roots over the course of this week.

FeebleSnane Today is marks 28 days since the plants sprouted. I topped all the plants yesterday so they have 4 nodes, and planted the tops in some cups for fun. My intention was to get a full scrog net with this tent, and get a relatively early flower, but I think I'm still going to have to wait closer to 5 weeks before flipping. I want the lowest node on each plant to be as high as where I cut the tops off, and plants #1 and #2 are pretty much there, but plant #3 is just behind them, and plant #4 is the runt of the litter. Plants #1-3 are about 8 inches tall, where as plant #4 is about 6 inches tall. I've backed off on nutrients this week after noticing some claws/hooks forming on plants #1 and #2 last week. Unfortunately, that means I didn't get to add CalMag this week, and it's really showing on plant #3. I'm going to start back on the nutrients with the next watering, and I'll include CalMag, which should take care of future rust spots. While plant #4 is the runt of the litter, it definitely has the best color and overall healthy appearance. I'll put up a scrog net in the next week or so, then flowering shortly after.

FeebleSnane It's been 35 days since the plants sprouted, and everything seems to be going well. There were some rust spots forming on a couple of the plants last week, with #3 getting the worst of it, and after adding some CalMag to the nutrient mix it appears to be fine. I made the nutrient mix a little stronger than I meant to at the beginning of this week, so a few of the plants have some leaves with yellow edges, but I gave them mostly plain water all week and it doesn't seem to be an issue. I laid out the scrog net at the beginning of this week, and the plants have grow around it nicely. I'll probably flip to flower in a day or two. Once a few branches grow enough that I can put them under the next line in the scrog next I'll change the light schedule. I've noticed that the self-watering bases I have the plants on aren't self-watering shit. I'm not sure why the water isn't absorbing into the pots, but it may have something to do with the HP Promix I'm using. Hopefully I figure that out because I'm too lazy to top water all the time. The plants were watered a couple hours before I posted this, so excuse plant #2 being droopy.

FeebleSnane Today is day 42 since the plants sprouted, and day 7 of 12/12 light schedule. Everything is going great with all the plants. Plants #1 and #2 have a lot of bud sites and secondary nodes getting good growth, and #4 is still the runt, but I'm happy with it. I gave all the plants a good defoliation today to expose the bud sites on the inside of each plant, and I expect a good yield from all these plants. There's still a little bit too much nitrogen in the mix because I'm seeing hooks/claws on all plants, but it hasn't gotten extreme and they appear to be growing fine.

1 of my 4 feminized plants appears to be growing pollen sacks. Most of the nodes have strange growths and pods on the plant, but a few of them look like normal female flowers. Should I rip this plant out now? Or can I just cut off the branches with pods?

Well, she got balls. If you have time and the possibility to check very very cloesly for new balls you can keep her. If you don't want to invest that much time and you have backup or can use the space I would say throw her away. Or seperate her and get some pollen :-)

FeebleSnane Today is day 49 since the plants sprouted, and day 14 of the 12/12 light schedule. I do not understand why I can't get a normal pack of seeds to save my life, but one of the plants from my pack of feminized seeds turned out to be a male. Very disappointing to cull the plant this far into its life, but it had to be done, so there's now an empty spot where plant #2 was. I tried to tie down some branches from the other plants to fill in the space, and hopefully make something useful from the loss. I've switched to the bloom schedule of nutrients which requires far less nitrogen, and since I was having to use the "low dose" feed chart after seeing hooks/claws during veg, I might bump up to the more aggressive dosing. After measuring my light at 590PAR today, I consider that about 100PAR lower than I'd want it over the past week, and the lower light may have contributed to the plants not being able to handle the nitrogen during veg. The light has been turned up to 650PAR, and I'll probably turn it up a mid-week rather than waiting a whole week between adjustments as I have been doing.
