- transplanted 2/23 - flipped 3/1 this tent is an RDWC system which replaces the aeration via air pumps for a gravity drain into the master reservoir (naturally aerating the solution), the flow rate leaves a constant trickle through the expanded clay with no solution sitting in flowering site buckets I have only grown this girl out once before as part of an ad-hoc breeding project in soil. Not only am I unsure how she will respond to Franken-tent but I am also weary on running so lean on replacement parts as Franken-tent is the amalgamation of spare parts. I do know that in the breeding project, even with letting the flowers go 2 extra weeks and then drying the flowers to dust, this girl is the type of smell that you can put it in a bag, put that in a bag, put that in a bookbag, put that in a different room, and you'll still smell her. The smell directly correlated to the flavor, even as dry dust with no cure. The terpene profile on her is like the gas you can only get on the street corners, not the """gas""" the dispensaries try to sell you. first diary of mine for her, certainly not the last

due to the lighting in this tent, she runs a little warmer and will be getting weekly full solution swaps including a gallon or two of feed amending ~3/4 gallons needed for the gravity-fed reservoir

full solution swap weekly, amended with 2 gallons Heavy 16 Flowering per above first aero run, the plants really took off once the roots were no longer fighting gravity as much and could sit on the bottom of the bucket; getting some interesting growth patterns on the stretch into flower will defoliate in ~a week

full solution swap weekly, amended with 2 gallons Heavy 16 Flowering per above defoliated today, which really only impacted the bottom 2-4 sets of branches (the growth pattern of these girls in the aeroponic system is lanky and seems to be prioritizing lower growth more so than I would have expected, perhaps an osmotic pressure type of phenomenon with aeroponics - will observe as buds really develop now that pre-flower has concluded); regardless I planned on keeping the majority of bud sites, this is not a grow for the densest or most potent flowers - this grow is all about that terp profile the bud sites already have developed that unmistakable, infallible menthol/volatile fuel/fresh sharp mint to them if disturbed

full solution swap weekly, amended with 2 gallons Heavy 16 Flowering per above noted picture above shows her specific behavior when in close proximity to the UV source, the deposit of cannabinoids are rushed to get protection, you see them around leaf edges; this is a relatively local phenomenon as UV photons are high energy and don't travel far

photoperiod was changed to 8 hours (by chopping 4 hours off the end) only as a way to get this tent free quicker full solution swap weekly, amended with 2 gallons Heavy 16 Flowering per above one of the girls will clog the gravity drain weekly, for now it requires lots of monitoring, in the future I need to 3D print something to keep the same flow rate out but stop roots from getting into this portion. As long as the roots stay out, there is no standing water in the flowering sites the smell is overtaking my Eternity Cup tent's smell already...👽👽👽

Added 10 mL Heavy 16 Bud A + B, 4 mL Plagron Green Sensation, and I did add trace amounts of multiple Grease additives that I will be using in the future. Notably, no ferments from them but more their targeted/trace additives. The exact mix to be shared soon. These girls are going to be going into a flush routine starting next week (day 49-56 at least, which will likely be the chop but I'm not sure with these lights). Every branch is either leaning on another branch or tied up. 💪💪💪

Noting here (due to the various opinions across the site) that this is a UV-A supplemented grow during flower. I normally respond to those questions from a place of experience but here is a diary to bolster said responses.

where did you get the clone from? is it a breeders cut?
ATLien415
ATLien415commenteda month ago
@RickSanchez, I wish. I keep a mother of her, from seed originally. From the 5 I've popped over time I have not noticed much distinction at all, very similar morphology on them (IME the sheer numbers game that Compound plays with breeding often leads them to rather stable places). I have never seen the 'perfume' pheno they mention observing. I have one more in the pack and until I do an S1 project I'll be keeping this girl around. Do you know of any forum or breeder's cut for her? I'd put some effort in to secure that.

Nice! can't wait to compare the outcome :) i will flip in about two or three weeks

@RickSanchez, I should be in a position to fire another tent off with her to match your flip day. If you want to coordinate, we can run side-by-side. I'm willing to do some shenanigans to mine, 8 hour photoperiod or something, for a cool tandem run?
