Xpie77 Grow Diary Week 3: Oreo from Seeds Genetics Date: March 18, 2025 Week 3 of my grow with the Oreo plant from Seeds Genetics is now a fact, and it’s getting more exciting! The development of this cultivar really leaves me in awe. Here’s an overview of the highs and lows of the past week. Growth and Development: From the start, Oreo has lived up to its name with a delightful combination of sturdy growth and stunning foliage. This week, I got a hefty dose of energy from the plant, as it’s really starting to expand! The leaf structure is healthy and woven, with shiny, dark green leaves that are full of life. The internodes are elongating, which bodes well for delicious side branches in the future. Nutrients: As for nutrients, I’ve slightly increased the dose of organic fertilizers. Oreo is responding excellently to that, with a visibly healthier appearance – the leaves are broader and the color is vibrant. To ensure that growth continues smoothly, I make sure the soil pH remains at the right level. Light and Temperature: The plant continues to enjoy the current light cycle of 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. The temperature remains a constant 22-26°C, which seems perfect for this strain. I’ve kept the humidity at 55% to keep the leaves moist enough while also preventing mold formation. Training: This week, I also applied some light low-stress training (LST). It’s a joy to see how Oreo adapts to the bent branches. The lower branches are finally getting the chance to grow and can now absorb more light. It seems to keep the plant beautifully balanced! Health Check: Upon inspection, I saw no signs of pests or diseases, which is always a good indication of a healthy grow. The leaves are free from spots, and the plant is standing strong.
