Xpie77 Grow Diary Week 3: Blue Zushi from Seeds Genetics Date: March 18, 2025 This week marks an exciting phase in the growth of my Blue Zushi plant from Seeds Genetics. It seems this strain lives up to its name: the growth and development are impressive! Growth and Development: In week 3, the plant has grown tremendously. The leaf structure is starting to take shape, with beautiful, rich green leaves firmly attached to the strong stems. The internodes are getting longer, which is a good sign that the plant is seeking space to grow upward. The smell is already remarkable; a combination of sweet berries and an earthy undertone is beginning to develop. Nutrients: I have tailored the nutrients to the needs of the plant. The combination of a light base nutrient and potassium-rich supplements seems perfect, as the leaves are shiny and feel healthy. I also added a bit of extra magnesium to ensure the plant doesn’t miss out on anything. Light and Temperature: The light cycle is still set to 18/6, and it seems to be working well. The temperatures fluctuate between 20-25Β°C, which is ideal. I have set the humidity to around 60%, which is likely helping the plant develop its lovely terpenes. Training: This week, I started a light form of low-stress training (LST). I carefully bent some branches down to give the side buds more light. It’s always fascinating to see how the plant responds to this. The new shoots are already starting to grow and are looking forward to more light and space. Health Check: So far, the plant looks healthy. There are no signs of pests or diseases, which is always a relief. I keep a close eye on the leaves and water the plant regularly to ensure it doesn’t dry out. Conclusion: All in all, week 3 has been a great week for my Blue Zushi. The growth is good, the health of the plant is excellent, and the smell is starting to develop. I’m really looking forward to the next phase and can’t wait to see how this plant continues to evolve. Hopefully, everything goes well and this beauty keeps growing! Until next week! 🌱

Xpie77 Grow Diary Week 1 Flowering - Blue Zushi from Seeds Genetics General Information: Type: Blue Zushi (Seeds Genetics) Number of Plants: 5 pieces Grow Tent: 120 cm x 120 cm Lighting System: Mars Hydro TS 3000 LED Temperatures: Daytime: 21 Β°C Nighttime: Around 19 Β°C Introduction The first week of the flowering phase for the Blue Zushi from Seeds Genetics is an exciting time, as we undergo an important transition from vegetative growth to flowering stage. This report discusses the current conditions, the health of the plants, and the necessary care. Environmental Conditions Temperature: The temperature is well set at 21 Β°C during the day and about 19 Β°C at night. These stable temperatures are ideal for the flowering phase, as they help minimize stress on the plants and promote optimal growth. Lighting: The Mars Hydro TS 3000 LED provides powerful light output and an optimal spectrum range. Make sure the lamp hangs 30-45 cm above the tops of the plants. This ensures good light penetration without the plants receiving too much heat. Humidity: Keep the humidity in the tent ideally between 40% and 60%. This not only aids in the development of the flowers but also prevents mold and rot issues. Monitor the humidity regularly, especially with changes in temperature. Plant Status The 5 Blue Zushi plants are showing healthy growth and a vibrant green color. Their leaves are broad and firm, indicating good photosynthesis. You can start observing the first signs of flowering, such as the development of buds. Nutrients At this stage, it is crucial to switch to a flowering-specific feeding schedule. Start with a low dose of flowering nutrients and gradually increase it based on how the plants respond. Watch for any signs of over- or underfeeding, such as yellowing or brown edges on the leaves. Watering During flowering, you need to keep a close eye on watering. Water the plants when the top layer of soil feels dry, but make sure not to overwater. Good drainage is essential to avoid root rot. Observations In the first week of flowering, it is also important to check the sexes of the plants, especially if you are using regular seeds. Remove any male plants to prevent them from pollinating the female plants. Conclusion The first week of the flowering phase is essential for the success of your Blue Zushi plants. With the right environmental conditions, nutrients, and water management, you lay the foundation for a bountiful bloom. Keep a close watch on the plants and adjust your care routine based on their needs. πŸŒ±πŸƒπŸŒΌπŸŒΏπŸŒΈπŸŒ±

Xpie77 Grow Diary: Blue Zushi (Seeds Genetics Co.) – Week 5 Date: April 8, 2025 General Information about Blue Zushi: Blue Zushi is an indica-dominant hybrid (60% indica, 40% sativa) resulting from the cross of Kush Mints and Zkittlez. This strain is known for its high THC content of around 28% and a complex flavor profile with notes of fruit, lemon, earth, and a hint of fuel. The flowering time averages 8-9 weeks, with an indoor yield ranging from 550 to 750 grams per mΒ². Webshop: https://seedsgenetics.nl/product/blue-zushi-gefeminiseerd/?utm_source=chatgpt.com Week 5 Grow Diary: Growth and Development: In week 5, Blue Zushi is right in the flowering stage. The plants show a sturdy structure with strong side branches, which helps support the developing buds. The height has remained manageable indoors, which is beneficial for growers with limited space. Bud Development: The buds are starting to significantly increase in size and are covered with a thick layer of trichomes, indicating a high THC content. The resin production is remarkable and promises a potent harvest. Smell and Taste: During this phase, the complex terpene profile of Blue Zushi comes to the forefront. The grow space fills with a mix of fruity and lemony aromas, complemented by earthy and fuel-like undertones. These scent indications predict a rich and layered flavor experience after the harvest. Care Tips: - Nutrition: Continue to follow a balanced feeding schedule, with special attention to phosphorus and potassium to support flowering. - Climate Control: Maintain a temperature between 20-26Β°C and a relative humidity of about 40-50% to prevent mold formation and optimize resin production. - Support: Consider using support materials like stakes or nets to support the branches, as the buds can significantly increase in weight. Outlook: With about 3-4 weeks to go until harvest, it’s essential to keep a close eye on the plants and address any signs of nutrient deficiencies or pests in a timely manner. Maintaining optimal growing conditions will contribute to a successful and high-quality harvest. The buds are really starting to swell nicely and the smell is becoming more pronounced – a mix of sweet and funky with that typical Zkittlez-like undertone. Resin production is well underway, and the leaves are getting a light frost layer. The plants are responding well to the 450 watt LED, internodes remain compact, and the buds are nicely close together – ideal for a full harvest (hopefully). Leaf color is dark green and healthy, no signs of nutrient deficiencies or stress (yes!). Climate: Day: 25-27Β°C Night: 20-21Β°C RH: 45-50% Nutrients: We are currently using a flowering nutrient at 1.6 EC and pH around 6.2. The plants are drinking eagerly, so the pots are getting wet every other day. Conclusion so far: Blue Zushi is absolutely not disappointing! Beautiful structure, bud development on schedule, and it already smells like something special is coming. 4 weeks to go – exciting! Stay lifted! The buds of Blue Zushi are now at their heaviest: dense, sticky, and covered with a thick layer of trichomes. The smell is extremely pronounced – a blend of fruity sweetness, kush, and gas that fills your space as soon as the tent opens. The colors are starting to change slightly: some leaves are getting purple hues due to the lower temperatures during the night cycle. --- Nutrients & Trichomes: The Hesi PK 13/14 has been reduced since mid-week. Feeding with Plagron Bloom continues, but the EC is slowly being lowered in preparation for the flush. EC: 1.6 β†’ decreasing pH: 6.2 Humidity: ~35% Trichomes: 70% milky, 20% clear, 10% amber The ripening is right on schedule. Daily checks are being made with the microscope to determine the right harvest time. --- Expectation: If this line continues to develop like this, the flush can start from week 8 with harvest at the end of next week or the beginning of week 9. Everything points to a premium quality harvest, with thick buds, intense smell, and high THC content.

Blue Zushi is in her 8th week of flowering and looks ready for the finish line. The buds are compact, shimmering with trichomes, and emit a pungent scent of sweet gas, berries, and earth. The color development is impressive: dark sugar-shaped leaves with purple-blue hues. Trichomes are now mostly milky with about 15–20% amber – a sign that harvest time is near. --- Flush & Harvest Preparation: This week has started with the flush, just water (pH 6.2) and possibly an enzyme mix to clean the roots. No more nutrients. The leaves are slowly starting to yellow – this is desired, it means the plant is tapping into its reserves. EC: ~0.4 (low values due to flush) pH: 6.2 Humidity: 30–35% Temperature: 23Β°C day / 18Β°C night --- Expectation: In a few days, the scissors will be set to this sticky and fragrant beauty. The yield looks promising. After that, the drying and curing will follow – essential to bring out the full Zushi profile.
