I just got these ladies from a buddy. Some grand daddy purps and a bit of widow. I’m gonna outline this grow using the gdp because I have more of them to make an accurate comparison. I will be growing half of the plants in my propagation/early veg box, and half in my late veg/early flowering box. This gives me enough of each plant to get an accurate side by side of hps veg vs precise spectrum with Hortilux T5 colors. The early veg portion of my grows tends to be the foundation and vigor of my plants. I grow low temp and humidity on purpose to slow cell division. The chambers are for containment and though currently very dirty, when clean coupled with my air purification system and fans make a similar environmental air quality that is similar to a profession grade clean room. The rooms are laminated in Orca grow film, which doubles as my reflector for my t5 box. Each containment area is custome built with non treated materials, organic insulation, and my plants are grown with vegan based nutrients and supplements, and inoculations from OG Tea Company. These plants were grown on veg and bloom/other sythetic nutrients. I generally grow my own genetics I’ve been developing but I decided to see how the effects of turning a sythetic plant into a vegan one go. I hear of horror stories and lots of stress but so far these poorly treated synthetically fed clones are responding rather well to their new environment which is polar opposite in what they are used to. And responding even better to the flush, transplant, and inoculations. 2 days the pots will be ready for their first dose of clone level nutrients. I will be rushing these guys through veg, so my nutrient may fluctuate greatly between post. During veg the t5 light plants and hps light plants will be undergoing the same processes and be fed the same nutrients. I hope I see as beautiful as results as what I get with my vegan bred, vegan fed strains.
This strain was productive and simple
To grow. It grew along side several other strains namely white widow. The bud was rich and strong. Heavy fruit and earth tones and a strong couchlockojg buzz. It yielded a large amount for the small plants it grew on, I would recommend this strain for those of you who like bud with a solid aroma and quality buzz. The plant produces a rich covering of trichromes regardless of bud boosters etc. I pulled these 7 plants in 2 harvests of 5 and 2 plants. The quality was stable across the board. For this grow I was focused more on the effects of taking clones that had been grown with synthecits and acclimating them and crossing them with different strains. I had great success on the first few plants. As breeding is concerned. And bigger success on my last two as breederinf see wasnt the goal. What I’m left with is a batch of veganic gdp and white widow seeds and I couldn’t be happier
This was a good experience growing. I wish had stayed to my schedule better and kept on this diary so it was less of a void but I def appreciate this plant and will be growing more very soon from my new vegan seed!!
