She grew fast and dense. She was my 2nd fastest finisher ever (Just behind my first ever Slushyfist run) I believe she finished in just under 8 weeks.
The nugs were dense and hairy as heck, but I will be honest I can't remember the terps behind her. If I remember correctly she had a bit of a lemony gas smell, but not a crazy amount of flavor. The high was excellent though. Really punches you in the face and keeps you dizzy. I enjoyed this strain as an end of the day smoke. I will give her another shot down the line for sure.
Titan was a treat. Extremely easy to grow, just needed a bit of spreading since it was as dense as a basketball when it first started flowering. Lovely nugs and an excellent smoke/high. It didn't have anything to distinguish it though, it was just good weed. So if you are hunting for a special flavor or smell then this probably isn't it, but if you want some good looking nugs that hit well, then she's your girl.
She grew fast and big, but was a bit testy with the lights and nutes at times. I burnt her up by the end, but the results were still excellent. I didn't really know what to expect as I was trimming and curing, but when I first popped open the grove bag after cure I was greeted with a fantastic aroma. It definitely has some watermelon candy notes to it and the smoke was smooth and tasty. Good head high that had a few peaks and valleys that made it quite unique. I will certainly grow this one again!
I didn't have the time to fully break out this diary like I have for my first three grows. I am just posting the results for the three plants I grew.
Watermelon was a real tall girl and she had a decent yield. If I didn't stress her out so much with the lights and nutes I am sure I could have pushed her for another week or two to maximize yield and push beyond 100g, but in the end this run ended up teaching me how to really dial in my nutes/lights and that was my goal. I feel like I have really polished my process from start to finish now and my 5th grow (Journal coming soon) will hopefully show that result!
Overall I definitely recommend the Watermelon Auto by RQS. It was easy to grow, smelled and looked fantastic, and the flavor and high were exactly what I was looking for. It won't blast your brain out of your skull, but it will give you a great high to knock out the days chores/or game/or whatever activity you choose.
Holy hell, she might be my favorite that I have grown, if not favorite she is at least top 3. (Widow and Royal Creamatic are sitting on the podium as well) Unbelievable flavor and smell, and the high is just robust and delicious. I had several friends/coworkers breaking down my door to get a 2nd helping, but unfortunately for them I had to keep the majority for myself. I let her ride a bit longer than I should have and she was definitely showing signs that she was going to herm (Had 1 little nanner start showing right at chop day) but that was after almost 14 weeks, so I am not really surprised that she went that route.) She also shared a tent with Watermelon and I really blasted them with a lot of light and nutes to push boundaries, so another reason for that. But, not a seed to be found and she smoked like a dream, so 10/10.
I actually grew two! The first girl that popped only had one cotyledon and I was worried about her viability, so I tossed her in a clorox container with some soil to let her ride and see what would happen. I wish i would have just let her ride in a 5 gallon and saved the 2nd seed, because she did just fine. The 2nd seed in the 5 gallon was an absolute beauty and really showed her purple phenotype. The smell was amazing, and she truly does taste/smell like a Mimosa after cure. One of the best I have had in a very long time.
