Chamalla Soaked seeds in mild Recharge solution over night, then planted them in coco coir.
Four days later all 6 have popped and made it above the surface, although #6 isn't looking so hot.
Oh well, whether 5 or 6, it's a very small phenotype hunt either way. I'll add a couple of clones of my trusty Brambles, see how they do with 9 weeks.

Chamalla Even though the germination rate was 100%, one of the seedlings surfaced without its cotyledons and died, so I'm left with 5 out of 6. Still great. I'll be adding 3 clones of another cultivar.
The remaining 5 seedlings look healthy, if a bit stretchy, and have just received their first light kelp tea and worm poop top dressing, with the tiniest sprinkle of Grow Dots.

Chamalla It's probably time to pot these up soon. I'll be using an intermediate size pot for this, instead of going from starter pot to 2 litre they'll be going into a 0.75 litre pot first. Hoping to grow better root systems that way while also keeping their footprint smaller for now, as their flower tent is going to be occupied for at least another month.

Chamalla Potted them up this week from starter pot to one size up, more than about time as the roots were getting dry too quickly.
They're not going to be in these pots for long, it's just to buy me an additional week or two because the previous phenotype hunt is taking a couple weeks longer than anticipated.

Chamalla They're still looking healthy despite the small pots. Hoping to keep them that way until they're tall enough to take cuttings. That should give me another week or two before they need to be potted up again and flipped to 12/12.

Chamalla Topped them all this week, cuttings are living in a humidity dome for the next week or two. Going to grow out node 3 on each, but leaving node 2 for now in case I need new cuttings.

Chamalla Potted up to their final containers (2L), they got some more Grow Dots, lots of worm poop, and some diatomaceous earth for the silica. They also moved into the flower tent.
Waiting for the cuttings to root, then I'll decide what to do with the lower side shoots.
