Welcome to the Very First grow I have ever done! This is a journey we have been on and continue to do so! This is Nana from 420 Fast buds. I don't have all the good pictures I started to take notes and document it late in the grow and just now started to decide to make a diary with it! I hope yall enjoy! There isn't too much to say in this comment I am using RO water and balancing the PH to about 6 PH for seedlings I like to go a bit higher. Sprout day on her was Feb. 3rd 2025. I am not using any nutrients at all nor hydroguard until the roots start hitting the water!

This is week 1 of Veg and we have roots in the water! I started a nutrient mix up of about 350 ppm here and remember this was my first grow so there is about to be a TON of mistakes coming up which I know about but mistakes happen and they help you learn and grow! Don't be afraid of messing up that is what makes you get better at your craft! No training or topping yet on this girl!! The nutrient ratio I used might bring the PPM to high so you might have to dilute it this is till the ratio I go with tho even amongst all 3. The process on how I put the nutrients in goes as such. I start with putting the Cali-Magic in first as the bottle recommends, with FloraMicro being the first to go in, FloraGro, FloraBloom following behind that! You should measure these out separate in different measuring devices as per the manufacture label. Do not mix these up together pour 1 by 1 into the reservoir. Once you have all your nutrients in there go ahead and make the PH adjustments as needed to reach desired level! The final thing to do is to put your hydroguard in! This will not change the ppm or PH and this is MAINLY to help with the water part and making sure your roots are healthy and not getting root rot! This is not a huge root helper like Recharge and products as such!

Alright getting into week 2 of Veg I start to top her and I do some defoliation and some LST. I took her down from the 5th node to the 3rd node but while doing this I accidentally chopped her to hard and actually had to go down to the 2nd node because of beginner mistakes which makes me a bit sad but hey we have recovered from it and continued on! She is still looking good but I have been getting some nute burn so I have been slowly trying to adjust the PPMs on her so she is liking it because what the internet and what the back of the nutes bottles say aren't working and she is telling me all about it! I jumped her all the way to 1000 PPM because I was doing just what the nutes said and after just one day I started to lower those ppms slowly day by day in order to get the ppm where it is pretty consistent this was a hell of a thing to learn on my first go! I dropped her all the way down to 700 ppm and she was still rising so I knew we still had some work to do! When all this is going on I also noticed it was causing PH issues and the plant leaves were telling me that also! The PH and PPM was everywhere!!

This is going to bring us up to date with the diary and from last update to this update this get a bit wild! I went through multiple weeks of still trying to figure out this ppm and nutrient configuration process! Again I start with water with 0ppm from Reverse Osmosis. I have done all kinds of test to try and figure this out and as much as I thought all of this was pointless in the middle of it a couple weeks later I am glad I did these things because I have learned soo much that is now helping me keep this under control later on in her life and I now retain this information so I can use it on my other plants to come! I have chopped nodes off my accident, nute burn, over watered, light burn and I have even snapped a branch. I could repeat myself about the nutes and ph part but that part of the game and will be in every update so we are going to skip that! It has been staying steady as of lately, but in the last picture I was messing around with my set up and was checking the plants out and during this time I was being careless and not really paying attention moving fast and I snapped a main branch almost completely in half! I seen it but didn't freak out obviously had some choice words for myself but we learn and move on!! With this now in motion the first thing I did was focus on this branch and how can I at least try to save it what else do I have to lose right? so I did some quick thinking on my feet. Only thing I had around the house at the time was some packaging tape and some wire I was using to help with the LST process so I grabbed both of those and a pair of shears just in case we end up losing a limb and we need to amputate! I had a buddy over at the time and he propped the limb back up into its natural place and while he was doing this I was wrapping the tape around the limb. This seemed to work and it was hold so I grabbed some extra wire and wrapped it around the tape mainly so the tape didn't come off and day by day as I anxiously checked up on her she wasn't getting worse. It has been roughly 12 days at this point and the very last photo is how she is doing now still green leaves and growing nothing died off! I am EXTREMELY surprised about this and also happy! There was a down side to this though, That main node that snapped and only that node of the plant got so stressed out that it is now flowering which is a bit early compared to the rest of the plant but we learn from our mistakes and move forward and see how this is going to finish out! I have switched her ratio up at this point also to do 2:3:1 with micro, gro, and bloom we are sitting at 750 ppm and 5.8PH and she is loving it over the last couple days! Bringing more color back into her and the numbers are staying steady!!

WEEK 6 VEG Day 52 from sprout ----------------------- Starting from 700 ppm start of this week we have now reached 900 ppm and seeing her hold steady! Consuming about 1/2 gallon of water every 2 days also! The plant is starting to flower so next week we be flower week 1! THOUGHT FROM THIS WEEK ----------------------- The ppm and PH finally for the first time throughout this grow is staying decently steady. I knew she was flowering soon so started to push ppm to 900. Was very worried about this. Also put ph to 6.0 The ppms went from 900 to 880 so put ph back to 6.0 happy with this The whole plant is showing signs of starting to flower.
