Core_T_Son Germinated in the CannaKan, then carefully placed in the Eazyplug. As soon as the seed leaves appeared, it went straight into the brand new HydroFarm pot. With 0.25 g/l of water drypart organic and a few drops of pH-down, and a watering interval of 5 minutes every two hours.

Core_T_Son We're in week 1 VT2. A bit of Hesi SuperVit as a foliar spray, 0.5g/l Organic Drypart, and White Shark mushrooms… nothing more. pH doesn't need to be adjusted, and Cal/Mag should be sufficient, at least according to William T. 😅 we'll see... Since this is a regular version of Bruce Banner, a cutting will be taken as soon as possible and immediately put under 12/12 to determine the sex. How I proceed will depend on the plant's growth.

Core_T_Son Neoprene cover used, switched from Organic Drypart to Tripart to increase the EC. Additionally, the pH value is gradually lowered to 6.2 (for now). By the end of the 2nd week, the EC is already at 1.3 and the pH value at 6.1. Unfortunately, the internodes are very short, so it will take longer until there are cuttings.

Core_T_Son Due to space reasons, I will skip the cuttings. The remaining 35cm should be enough, that's five times the height of the plant. 😅 Unexpectedly, there was space in the flowering tent, so Bruce has moved and is now getting 12/12 and a pre-flowering schedule.

Core_T_Son Topped and the next day under 12/12. New nutrient solution with pre-flowering schedule, silicate, and a bit of pH down. Of course, on day 5 (04/13), it's still not visible what gender the Bruce is getting.

Core_T_Son Last week was eventful: there was some trimming and bending. Everything was a bit clumsy, so late consequences like broken shoots can't be ruled out. The EC was gradually increased, and silicates (0.4g/L) were also added using a stock solution. The stretch should really kick in now since I was finally able to position the lamp more accurately. To avoid any damage, it was initially set to 25 DLI/12h.

Core_T_Son Today, on BT20, it's still not clear if it's female. It has been defoliated multiple times so far, with the last time being yesterday. Wires were used for LST, and otherwise, the thing can just do its thing… After exactly 21 days, it's visible: a female! 🤩🤩 Now the flowering schedule has been switched, and now the magic can happen.

Core_T_Son Time and again, they are bent and twisted, all for the coverage. It's really nice that the Bruce can handle HST like it's nothing. Quite stable branches, so the silicate makes a very big difference when applied correctly.

Core_T_Son Of course, there's now little to nothing to do as long as everything has been done right. Seems to be the case here, the Bruce is growing and sending more and more flowers into the race. It was surprising to measure the EC value before refilling… 3.4 is already quite high, so it was lowered to 3.2. The pH value, on the other hand, remained at 5.8 and will continue to be adjusted every 5-10 days. Since there are very dark leaves and really high EC values here, we will soon flush for 12 hours with Flash Clean to decrust the hardware and make the roots more absorbent. After that, we'll continue with Final Part.

Core_T_Son It's slowly coming to an end. In a few days, I'll probably start with flash clean to remove deposits in the bucket, and then there will be Final Part.

Core_T_Son Here we go towards harvest. Trichomes are already milky… That's why the tank was changed, there was a 24h flash clean, mainly to keep the pump and bucket free from deposits. After that, it was switched to Final Part. A pinch of Epsom salt was added to the tap water (EC from 0.3 to 0.5) and then brought to an EC of 3.4 with Final Part. pH is 5.8.

Core_T_Son Today (Saturday) was day 66 after switching to 12/12. Next week she will definitely be ready, so about a week longer than the breeder's information.

Core_T_Son Here we go towards the harvest. It takes a bit longer than the time indicated by the breeder, and the transition period might not be counted. To maintain the technique and clean the clay pebbles, Flash Clean was run for 36 hours. Now switched to pH-regulated tap water. Harvest will take place tonight/early tomorrow morning.

Week 13. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

An absolutely satisfactory result. The smell is epic, it really bites. I harvested everything using the wet trimming method, as I lack the space this time to hang the tops. 600+ (wet) is already a pleasant result for 0.36 m2. The buds are nicely heavy, but not excessively massive. Very good strain from Advanced Seeds, Bruce Banner will definitely be back. The smoke is very tasty, but all the other people around me claim it stinks like hell.

Core_T_Son It was a strange end to the grow. Without soil, the plant just falls out of the bucket as soon as you cut something on one side. So, some adjustments still need to be made.
