📢 Strawberry Banana Micro Grow – Pushing the Limits! 🍓🍌
Appoldro420 26/03: New grow, new challenge! This run will feature seven Strawberry Banana seeds leftover from my last round, grown in a slightly larger, custom-made pot (35x35x10cm) designed to fit perfectly in my DIY micro grow box.
💡 Light Schedule Experiment: Instead of the usual 12/12, I’ll be running a 13-hour light cycle from start to finish—just one extra hour, but let’s see if it makes a difference. Another fun experiment!
🌱 Setup & Strategy:
Medium: Organic supermarket soil
Nutrients: BAC organic feed
Grow Box Specs: 35x35x70cm internal size
Lighting: 90W custom-built LED
Ventilation: PC fan + climate control via Spider Farmer GGS
I’ll also be feeding more frequently this time to see if I can push the yield higher—shooting for 80 grams. Given the small space, not all seedlings might make it, but survival of the fittest will determine the final lineup.
Let’s see what this setup can do! 🚀💨

28/03: 🔥 Strawberry Banana – The Babies Are Popping! 🍓🍌
And we’re off! 2 out of 7 seeds have already broken through the soil, and things are looking good so far. A slow tease, but hey, I like it when the ladies take their time before making an entrance. 😏
This round, they’ve got way more space to stretch their legs—jumping from 3.6L to a 9.8L pot. That means bigger roots, bigger plants, and hopefully a sea of juicy, sticky tops. Basically, a mini-SOG in the making. More girls, more fun, right?
Of course, we’re starting straight on 12/12 again—because let’s be real, last time my tallest lady nearly kissed the ceiling, and that was in a pot less than half this size. I love them big, but I also like to keep things under control… kind of. 😏
Let's see how these Strawberry Bananas grow—I want them thick, dripping in frost, and stretching just enough to make things interesting. 🌱🔥

30/03: Another two popped up. Just 3 to go.. put them under the lights now.

As the soft embrace of light caresses their delicate leaves, our young beauties stretch toward the warmth, eager to explore their new world. These tender seedlings, just one week into their vegetative journey, stand tall and full of promise—each one a delicate masterpiece of nature’s seduction.
09/04: somehow number Seven did manage to pup up
💦 The Perfect Feed
A gentle touch is all they need, and we're spoiling them with 1ml/L of BAC Organic Bloom, a subtle yet stimulating sip to awaken their senses. With every drop, they drink in the nutrients, fueling their curves, deepening their color, and preparing them for the lush fullness to come.
🔥 Heat & Passion
The environment is steamy, a sultry 30˚C, wrapping these young vixens in warmth, encouraging them to grow strong and supple. The air hums with potential as their roots dig deep, intertwining with the rich, moist soil—a slow and intimate dance beneath the surface.
🌿 Natural Beauty
Their slender stems reach higher, standing proud, crowned with fresh, vibrant leaves that glisten under the lights. Each leaf unfurls like a teasing whisper, revealing the seductive symmetry of nature's finest creation.
💋 What's Next?
Soon, these little temptresses will mature, filling out, becoming thicker, bushier, more intoxicating with each passing day. But for now, we watch and admire as they sway gently, bathed in love, light, and anticipation.
Stay tuned for Week 2, when our gorgeous ladies start showing off even more of their luscious potential. 💚✨

Appoldro420 Day 21 from seed
Light Schedule: 12/12 from seed
Medium: Soil
Container: Custom wooden box
Current height: ~15cm (tallest plant)
🌱 General Observations:
The plants are progressing nicely! At 21 days from seed, they’re healthy, vibrant, and showing strong vegetative growth despite being on a 12/12 light cycle from the beginning.
The tallest plant currently measures around 15cm. Growth is relatively compact, likely due to the early switch to flowering light schedule, but they’re making the most of the space and environment.
🌸 Early Flowering:
This week, I’ve observed the first signs of pre-flower — small white pistils are starting to appear at the top nodes. That confirms that the transition to bloom is underway. Always a satisfying milestone to hit!
It’s also clear that this batch isn’t entirely uniform — some plants are definitely stronger and more vigorous than others, but that’s part of the fun with seed-grown genetics. This round is all about observing and selecting the best performers.
✂️ Topping Plan:
I’ve decided to top the largest and most vigorous plant tonight as soon as the lights come on. Since we’re in early bloom, it’s a bit of a balancing act — but the goal is to promote better structure and encourage lateral growth before things progress too far into flowering. The rest may stay untouched or receive some light LST depending on how they stretch over the next few days.
