SubliminalSociety F*CK MENSTRUAL CRAMPS!
Purplematic is a high CBD, low THC strain by RQS. It helps with pain management without getting you high as a kite, ie it's great to battle those monthly belly cramps. It has become my wife's favourite F*CK MENSTRUAL CRAMPS strain.
We use it to make edibles and tinctures. So, a little goes a long way. Rather than pushing for yield, we focus on getting one big fat juicy sticky cola.
ITS FAST - 8-9 weeks from seed to harvest
ITS BEAUTIFUL - the buds get a nice purple color with light brown pistils
IT WORKS - follow our journey to make the best anti cramps medicine!

SubliminalSociety The first pair of leaves sprouted this week and I transfered her into a smaller clay pot. The idea is to save water and keep the roots moist until I transfer her into the bigger pot. It's the first time I'm doing this, let's see what happens...
We also have a bit of stunted growth since the second pair of leaves started developing. I've seen this before with autos, so im not worried.
Looks:
They still look so fragile at this stage and it's hard to imagine the beautiful plant she will become. The stem is holding nicely. It's just the leaves that look a bit off, but I'm sure she'll outgrow it.
Fertilizer:
I've been using this Plagron kit for my growbox since I grew Purple Haze Auto with it a while ago. The results were impressive: big buds and strong taste (you can find the diary here, too).

SubliminalSociety Things are still moving along nicely with my soon-to-be-Purple CBD plant. Those first little 3-finger leaves ended up being a bit stunted, but that's alright, I'll snip them off once I the first buds start swellinh.
All the new leaves coming in look great though, all healthy with 5 fingers. It's not stretching as much as it could, but that's down to the small pot, which is exactly what I wanted since I'm planning on using this harvest for some low-strength edibles and tinctures – don't need a massive amount.
I'm going to pot her up into a 4-liter next week as she should be starting to flower soon, and that should keep her nice and compact.
So far, so good with the healthy new leaves and the intentionally smaller size.
The white-brown tips on your first true leaves look like early light stress, splash burn, or dry spots—not a serious issue. Since new growth looks healthy, it’s not stunted—just minor damage to those first leaves.
No need to worry. Avoid misting under light, don’t overwater, and keep your light distance reasonable. Let her keep growing—she’s bouncing back fine.
SubliminalSociety Alright, new week, new update on the little lady!
So, yeah, she was definitely outgrowing her little clay starter pot – you could even see the tiny roots peeking out the bottom, bless her heart! Today was the big moving day, and she's now settling in her forever home: a comfy 4-liter fabric pot.
And wow, has she shot up! She's practically doubled in size and is at roughly 10cm now. And I'm seeing the very first signs of flowering! This one is definitely a fast one.
For her soil, I made a nice mix of coco, clay pebbles, and some good organic potting soil – mixing always feels like a little spa day for her roots (and my hands). And to keep her strong, I'm feeding her with Plagron nutrients, which have always been super reliable for me.
And THANK YOU to everyone who chimed in with advice last week. I'm thinking I might have overdone it with the intermediate clay pot. I'm used to growing feminized plants outside where they're a bit more forgiving with repotting stress. But with an auto, it's like they have their own little internal clock that starts ticking as soon as they sprout. That intermediate clay pot might have been an unnecessary step. Next time I grow an auto, she's going straight into her final pot!
The silver lining is that I actually wanted to keep her on the smaller side, and it looks like she's obliging, so all in all, things are looking pretty good! 😊

SubliminalSociety Despite a small stretch, I can tell she's growing to remain a small one. The main cola is established. We have a handful of side shoots that won't stretch more.
The intermittent potting was a mistake in hindsight and definitely nothing I'll be doing with autos again.. It really slows them down. So here's the answer to the question I posted last week :)
Well, I just ordered some small textile pots for the next generation of outdoor plants that will need transplanting.
In other news, her purple is really starting to show. Even the early flower is dark and purple. Nodes are strong. I'm looking forward to her development
SubliminalSociety The flowers have started to swell and increase in size nicely. She's not stretching much, so I guess, these 18cm will be it.
She's getting a really shimmery purple colour. I tried capturing it in a video.
I removed some of the older leaves to optimize for light and optimized fertilizer for bud size (Hi PLAGRON Alga Bloom!).
Give us all your CBD goodness, purple lady!
I think you are fertilizing too hot growmie, I don't use the same nutes but 20 ml sounds like too much.
Good luck with the rest of your grow growmie 🤞🍀♥️
