RDWC - Deep Purple

Legal_Limit . First run on new setup. . RDWC system using an external 250gph recirculation pump, and 6 inch "Rain Rings". Each 5gallon bucket also has a 4" air stone. All lights and pumps are on WiFi network and set using an Android App. Pump runs 1 minute, then off for 20 minutes

Legal_Limit Nothing new this week. Flush the system on Mondays, add nutrients to fresh R.O water and PH to 5.5 Beginning of week (Make extra). Top up with distilled until reservoir EC drops by 25% then use extra top up solution.

Legal_Limit . Had a hard time keeping the tent humidity controlled. Added a WiFi TH16 Sonoff controller and set the target Humidity to 50%. I found that the Fan "off" time could be doubled with tinfoil covers over the Hydroton.

Legal_Limit . Added the suport trellis this week. I'm trying to keep the CBD spreading out to allow time for the Deep Purple to stretch and hopefully catch up.

Deep Purple Showing signs of root issues (twisty and cupping leaves). Started Hygrozyme at 2ml per Litre.

Legal_Limit Noticed onset of Nitrogen toxicity in the Deep Purple. (Glossy, dark, random clawed leaves) Stopped SensiCal ( 4% Nitrogen) Did full drain and fill with fresh RO and adjusted nutrient percentages.

Legal_Limit Last week's mid-week flush and nutrient change definitely helped. Both plants are perked up, and even some of the clawed leav showed minor improvement. New growth looks healthy.

Legal_Limit Plants definitely bounced back, the nutrient uptake is really noticable in the EC, dropping by hundreds of points overnight and the fact that I can't keep the tent humidity down and had to raise the auto fan settings from 40 to 45% just to give the fans some down time.
