Day 35 Flower Humidity has been creeping up to 70% Bought some clay cat litter thinking it might bring it down. It didn't. Resorted to some damprid crystals that pull moisture out of the air. After a couple of days humidity is down to 48% - 55%. Buds seem to be filling out nicely. Got rid of limited fan leaves on bottom.

Grow Questions

I am using a 300 Watt LED light with a Veg and Bloom Function. Currently Light is 27" from soil surface and only on Veg setting. I am also using a LUX meter app (not sure how accurate they are. I am getting about 10 500 - 11 000 Lux at plant height. Is 11 000 a little bit too?

Hey there Dude! Yes that is a little high for the age of the plants. but it will be great for them once they get a little bigger until then. you may want to look into getting like 2 25watt CFL lights for the Seedling stage of life they work great for it! if you have the room it doesn't look like you do but i would also recommend looking into a 2ft T5 for the Seedling stage they work awesome but if you don't have the space the CFL;s will do the same. then once they have got out of the seedling stage pop the light you got going now back on and they will love it!👍 Hope this helps Happy Growing!!

I have gone overboard with Nutrients. Soil PH went down to 4.5. Flushed soil and PH back up to 6.5 - 7. Getting some brown splotches on both plants but only on the older "first" fan leaves. Wondering if that is just light burn. Plant is much happier now. Backing off Nutes :)

Looks like you had an excess of phosphorus. Think of Phosphoric acid. This caused the big ph drop and caused nutrient lockout. Looks like a good save on your part to flush her hard. I would keep an eye out for cal/mag deficiencies in the newer growth over next week or two since you did such a large flush. Losing the lower fan leaves is no big deal she'll be growing more anyways. If you have a TDS meter it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep an eye on the run off ppm. Check your runoff ph also you can wind up with the ph bouncing back down if your using guano. Best of luck brother

Been feeding 10-10-2 bat guano (super grow) and now some 1-9-1 (super bloom) for 3 weeks, still getting brown dead spots on older fan leaves. Maybe still a phosphorous deficiency and plant taking awhile to intake the nutrients?

Rust spots on older leaves are sign of potassium (K) deficiency, on the other hand phosphorous (K) deficiency shows as black, dark metallic spots on lower leaves

@The_Dude, an "whiter light" would be better / more green/blue than red... iam looking in that store https://www.pgohort.co.nz/shop/product/257161/2ft-Fluorescent-Enclosure-w2x-24w-T5-Lamps/.............................this one look much better but iwill say pretty expensive... the growshop maybe look for them in a warehouse

@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you. I did see this 75 watt led panel which might work out well. https://www.pgohort.co.nz/shop/product/262405/45w-LED-Grow-Light-Panel/ also going to see how far up i can move the light.

Looks great, just you want to do lst, do it with plants who will be water straight after your work. Plant is a bit dwarthy, so stem will be very thick, dont break it. Keep on growing !

Nice Grow interesting looking strain. Is it some kind of Maui wowie cross?
The_Dude
The_Dude
@SativaKid, I'm not sure. Was bag seed. There is a strain called Orange Roughie in the area which is a possibility.
