Mimosa Shot by Herbies

BudBeat Hello good day Mimosa Shot 😎 I once had the pleasure of a bloom from the Mimosa Shot. Since then, I've wanted more… Its strong sour lemon really got to me back then, and I wanted more 🤤 Since I've never been able to get my hands on the Mimosa Shot again, I now at least have seeds from Herbies 😊. Wish me luck that it turns out at least as good or even better.

BudBeat Unfortunately, I was a bit tied up, hence the somewhat late report. The Mimosa is doing its thing and growing. There's not much more to report at the moment.

BudBeat Hey folks, Next week is starting and everything is still a bit subdued. I topped the Mimosa last week to curb the height growth a bit and satisfy my experimental spirit. Since last week, the leaves are slowly starting to turn yellow. What do you think? Overwatering or does she need a compost tea? The compost tea is ordered and should hopefully arrive next week!

BudBeat Here I am again… Unfortunately, I made a mistake! The soil became too dry as expected, and therefore the nutrient supply was too low. The lady got yellow leaves and her growth was stunted. Luckily, I had ordered the compost tea mix from Almicanna with Red Wiggler humus, compost tea mix for the veg stage, and sugarcane molasses. First, the old straw was superficially removed, and then it was topped up with fresh Dope Soil. I laid a new layer of straw and reinstalled the Blumat system. After it arrived, I brewed a compost tea for 24 hours and lo and behold… a lot of life is coming into the soil. The lady is still a bit small and struggling, but that will change in the coming time.

BudBeat Here, the compost tea has shown its effect. The Mimosa Shot recovered from the stress of nutrient deficiency. Now it's back in action. Since I'm experimenting a bit with the Mimosa and using LST, and I topped all four shoots again yesterday, I'm curious to see how the lady has developed in a week.

BudBeat The Mimosa seems to be running out of nutrients again. That's why I made a compost tea mix yesterday. Today I'll water with the mixture again to bring back the power. I probably went a bit overboard with the topping.

BudBeat I didn't think I could get the lady to bloom again like this! It was a long battle, but it was worth it. Her leaves were always a bit lighter, almost yellowish. The leaf tips mostly turned very dark, even black. After four compost tea mixes (2 x Vegi, 2 x Flower) and sowing LittleHelperSeeds from Almicanna, the green is looking really juicy. We're already in the second week of flowering, and the trichome production is in full swing.

BudBeat My little problem child… The Mimosa has recovered well, but there’s still not really any juice present. Gave it another compost tea yesterday, hoping to get some real juice into the soil. The stretch is over here too, and now it’s time to focus on the buds. Catch you later!

BudBeat The buds are gaining volume. That makes my heart happy. Fungus gnats are still around, so I released the nematodes I ordered yesterday. I hope those pests will be cleared out soon. Otherwise, the Mimosa is growing quite nicely. One branch is a bit lighter than all the others, but that shouldn't bother me. I think I'll make a compost tea at some point.

BudBeat Last week was without any special excitement. Everything is going well and the flower mass is increasing.

BudBeat The Mimosa Shot is extremely dense in terms of the buds. The Dryferm did a perfect job and comes highly recommended. Now it's time to cure and occasionally open the bag.
