m1ndgames Day 12-16 since sprouting (depending on the plant) The sun is shining... the weather is... well you know how this goes... As the weather report says it will be dry and sunny, i brought the ladies out today. Lets start by telling you how I prepared the bed and what it includes. Last autumn, I sowed winter legumes, which grew well through to spring. These help to improve the soil by loosening it up and also provide nutrients when the plants are dug into the bed and distributed in spring. The whole setup was topped off with around 100 earthworms, who now call this place their new home. About four weeks ago, I planted and established various companion plants in the bed: Red clover Marigold Mint Coriander Tagetes Basil Then I prepared the spots for the cannabis plants: First, I removed the companion plants and dug a hole about 30 cm deep where the cannabis plants would go. I then filled the hole with loose, pre-fertilized soil until a small mound formed. On top of this mound, I placed slug collars and sowed clover around the edges. I did this partly to deter slugs and partly to create a nice watering ring. And today the Plants got into their new home, im really looking forward to this as this is the 1st time i am doing it "the natural way"
