Mango Cream Auto and Strawberry Cola Auto by Exotic Seeds
DedeLirante That's my second grow and I hope get better results adjusting the problems that I did on my first attempt.
Hope you will enjoy this incredible journey of cannabis growing. I'm focusing to have it harvested for the summer. I'll host a special friend for holidays in June and the objective is to enjoy with weed free. 😅🤞🏽🍁
Due my plan, starting early April, I should be harvesting on second week of June.
Unfortunately, I lost the photos from the initial phase of these plants. My phone went off and the photos went together.
I used paper towel method with 100% of success.
It took 3 days until I've 2-3cm of root and I put direct in the soil. I'm using Biobizz Lightmix and 8L fabric pots.
I put 100ml of water and left them in the dark tent for 2 day until they completely become a sprout.

DedeLirante This week I did some adjustments on light distance, ppfd and humidity.
I put a humidifier to increase RN until around 70%, which is the recommendation for veggie, based on my researches.
They respond very quickly and demonstrated to have a good development ahead. Good adjustments to provide the correct environment for them.
This week I started administrating the recommended dosage of nutrients and then, I remembered my first grow which I did an overfert, an also a trail with s friend to use nutrients add minimum as the plants need.
So, I decided to reduce the nutrients to half recommended dosage and increase by the time.

DedeLirante This week they took 4 days to get the soil dry.
I did a trip to London and Paris, for the first time, which were amazing cities, and left a friend that never touched in plants to water and do the topping assisted by a video that I left and by photos and consultancy that I should provide him.
On day 17, on the perfect window to do the topping without affecting the plants development, my friend did his job watering and did the consultancy for topping.
I use to leave 4 nodes, cutting above the 3rd node as high as possible to avoid the trunk split during the plant life,l. So, my friend did the topping right in 1 Strawberry Cola and cut above the 4th node instead of on top of 3rd node, leaving 6 nodes on the other Strawberry Cola and Mango Cream
To avoid doing another top out of "top windows" and stress the plant starting the flowering prematurely, I decided to test 2 with 6 nodes and 1 with 4 nodes.
Day 17 - 21/04/2025
Watered with 1L of tap water with EC 0.4 and corrected the PH to 5.8 this time.

I use to start the LST trainings om the same day, but it would be too much to ask for my friend ahahaha.
Then, I decided do the LST when I back, 3 days later.
DedeLirante On day 20, as I'm including as a beginning of 3rd week, I back from my vacations and did the LST on all of them.
On 6 nodes plants, I redirected the lower and upper nodes in different positions in order to organize having the same light penetration on them.
Before do the LST, I use to water with nutrients to allow the plant recovery well from the training.

4 days late, they already pointed up and seems healthy to what is the last week growing and start to prepare for blooming.
Then, I increased the water volume and the nutrients for the next watering.
Day 24 - 28/04/2025
Watered 2L of tap water + 29ml of Athena Grow B+A + 10ml of Athena Cleanse + 12ml of Athena Calmag

And they were ready for another LST session and some light defoliation just on the big leafs on the bottom and the ones acting as a shadow for the other nodes.
After the LST session they got positioned to have a good canopy and light penetration with the branches levelled. What recovery very well 2-3 days later and pointed up again as seems preparing for blooming.
Day 28 - 01/05/2025
Late developed Strawberry Cola
As this plant didn't show bloom signals, I leverage to apply another LST session because it was ambushed and the node were not receiving equal light penetration. So, I redirect some branches out and other pointing to the center.
Watered with 2L of tap water with 29ml of Athena Grow B+A + 10ml of Athena Cleanse and 12 of Athena CalMag.

DedeLirante I'm considering this week as "Transition week", or week 1 blooming, going from grow phase to bloom phase.
This week the girls pointed up and started the bloom process hard, developing the node to become flowers.
It started to have a good smell.
One Strawberry Cola 1 and the Mango Cream are going very well and started to develop the buds and I can see some growing in the middle stems too.
It's a good signal. With topping and LST, I could reach a good branches leveling and a very good canopy. Hope it will go fine.
The other Strawberry Cola 2, after the last LST session, recovered very well and started to point up and preparing to bloom hard soon. This plant has a shorter structure, what we can expect a huge and fat buds as my last one.
As this plant is going to the second week of bloom, I decided to follow the same path than the others, without add grow nutrients. Just Cleanse and CaMg, a bit higher than usual.
Day 32 - 05/05/2025
Strawberry Cola 1 and Mango Cream
Watered with 2,3L of tap water + 10ml of Athena Bloom B+A + 7,5ml of Athena Cleanse + 10ml of Athena Camg.
PH 6.2
Strawberry Cola 2
Watered with 2,3L of tap water + 15ml of Athena Cleanse + 20ml of Athena CaMg.
PH 6.0
Day 34 - 07/05/2025
On the last couple days, I perceived the Strawberry Cola 1 was growing slowly, and Im feeling they will start to be overfert if I do not correct the EC there, because I've seen the leaf point smoootlhy been yellow/dry(veeery early stage, I couldn't take a photo). Mango Cream is still exploding.
I was working without EC test because mine went off, but as I received the new one and decide start using RO water instead of tap water. Should be easier to control the EC and the gradually control the EC on them.
I decided to reduce all nutrients and just used CaMg with Cleanse from Athena Nutrients and increased the watering volume to help on the run off.
Strawberry Cola 1 and Mango Cream
Watered with 3L of RO water with 10ml of Athena Cleanse + 8ml of Athena Camg.
PH 6.0

Strawberry Cola 2
Watered with 3L of RO water + 5ml of Athena Bloom Cleanse + 8ml of Athena CaMg + 5ml of Athena Cleanse.

I'm working to correct the EC, ensuring they won't be blocked be any overfert. For this, I still watering with RO water with some CaMg and Cleanse. The objective is to reduce the EC checking the EC run off.
I checked today and they are high on EC 5.1, but they didn't show any deficiency signal, just the growth reduction comparing with the previous weeks.
I think I could act on time and they will be good.
Watered all of them with 3L of RO water with 5ml of Athena Cleanse + 5ml of Athena CaMg, each one.
PH 6.0
EC 0.5
I'll keep following their development and should just water with low EC solution with CaMg until the EC levelling.
On Strawberry Cola 2, I just readjust some branches to be well accommodate for their development. And also remove some specific leafs that was covering the others.

3 day later the soil got dry and they are going very well. Mango Cream started frosting and smelling hard and both Strawberry Cola are going hard too.
I'm keeping the strategy this week to water with low EC RO water with Athena CaMg and Athena Cleanse, in order to levelling the EC on them, reducing the chance of overfert and stuck them.
On Mango Cream and Strawberry Cola 1, I watered with 3L of RO water with 4ml of Athena CaMg + 5ml of Cleanse.
PH 6.0
EC 0.4
EC Run Off reduced from 5.1 to 4.5
On Strawberry Cola 2, I watered with 2,5L of RO water with 3ml of Athena CaMg + 4ml of Cleanse.
PH 6.0
EC 0.5
EC Run Off reduced from 6.2 to 5.4
As my intention is to reduce the EC gradually, it seems that it's working. I'll keep this strategy until I reaches the EC around 3.0 on all of them.
Cheers!
DedeLirante They are developing well and the smelling started to be a bit strong with gas terpenes from both strains.
I'll keep following the EC and their development to ensure they won't have any blocker.

3 day later the soil got dry, what it seems the watering cadence based on the pot size. They are going very well.
After talk with some friends and reviewing the plant status, I decided to keep follow the nutrient schedule and keep looking at them.
Mango Cream and Strawberry Cola 1 stopped stretching and should started the bulking phase, that's why the smelling is so strong.
On Strawberry Cola 1, I just remove some leafs that were covering the other branches. I, literally, removed 5 leafs.
Watered with 3L of RO water with 4ml of Athena Bloom B + 4ml of Athena Bloom A + 4ml of Athena CaMg.
EC 1.9
EC Run Off 5.8
PH 6.0
On Mango Cream, I did some defoliation removing the big leafs on the bottom, that was nothing receiving light and probably consuming plant's energy. Then, they can concentrate on the top canopy.
Watered with 3L of RO water with 4ml of Athena Bloom B + 4ml of Athena Bloom A + 4ml of Athena CaMg.
EC 1.9

PH 6.0
As Strawberry Cola 2 is one week later than the others. So, it seems going to finish the stretching bloom phase.
As Mango Cream, I did some defoliation removing the big leafs on the bottom, also some ones in the middle, that wasn't receiving light and ambushing the middle overlapping the middle nodes. Then, they can concentrate on the top canopy.
Watered with 3L of RO water with 4ml of Athena Bloom B + 4ml of Athena Bloom A + 4ml of Athena CaMg.
EC 1.9
EC Run Off 5.9

The defoliation on them also was done to improve the air circulation because my tent increased 1,5-2,0C. degrees with the season changing. Hopefully it can help to reduce a bit.
As the previous EC on them were between 5.1 and 6.1, it means that they are ok, consuming the nutrients and not blocked by high EC. Happy news!!

3 day later the soil got dry and they are going very well.
I'm keeping the strategy this week in order to levelling the EC on them. Seen they sucked a bit their development and some burns started to show on the leaf points, I decided to flush them a bit to correct the EC and continue the nutrients schedule correct.
I flushed them with 6L of RO water with PH corrected, each one. They reduced the EC to 2.0~3.4 and I added another schedule nutrients solution.
All water schedule below is after the flush.

I also did some defoliation on Strawberry Cola 2 to improve that light penetration and air circulation.
Day 48 - 21/05/2025
They definitely are in the bulk phase. The smell is crazy.
My flush strategy was successful and they are eating like a monster now and without any bad signals. Happy with the correction results.
I also increased the watering volume.
