socialstorm This is my first ever grow!! xD Glad to have you along for the process. After witnessing lush green vegetation with the spring season, we decided to cultivate some of our own😌. We were hoping to germinate in time for the "Pink Moon" unfortunately our little seedlings came under attack from ants and vanished overnight, which ultimately resulted in a restart of the grow. For now, during the seedling phase they are placed in cups and reside on a windowsill. The substrate is made up of soil which was collected locally from the "wildlands" and sifted to obtain the pure grain. Then it was mixed with FoxFarm's Happy Frog Soil Conditioner, which is already amended with enough nutrients to take us from the seedling stage to the vegetative cycle. We have taken a keen interest in lunar planting and will be moving in accordance with the moon's phases during our grow.

socialstorm Hey there👋fellow aficionados, glad to have you back again this week! We decided to transplant our babies on Wednesday, April 23rd in anticipation for the new moon. There was a lot of cloud cover allowing the plants to settle into their new home before being hit with the full force of the blazing star orbiting our sky. Since Fox Farm Big Bloom is gentle enough (as a bonus is it OMRI certified🙏) to be used during all stages of growth, we added 15ml to a 1 gallon watering can and fed each plant equally for 2 days namely, Wednesday and Friday. Our girls are looking feisty😊.

socialstorm Hey there Amigo👋Nothing much to report except that these girls have been growing vigorously this past week. Unfortunately, our bottle of FoxFarm Big Bloom was depleted and replaced with Grow Big. Hopefully we get some more soon!! The nutrients are mixed into a 1 gallon watering can and fed only on Mondays and Fridays, with Wednesdays being intermediary days and only a simple watering is condoned. (Absolutely no watering is done over the weekends unless mother nature decides to bless us with the gift of her tears😌) P.S those photos were taken on Sunday, May 4th ;P

socialstorm With the waxing of the moon😌a time for recovery. Although we did intentionally attempt to "FiM" the end result was a topping instead xD. N.B Plants were topped on Monday, 5th May. We did obtain another bottle of Fox Farm Big Bloom to compliment "Grow Big". As usual our nutrient solution was mixed into a 1 gallon watering can with 5ml each which was fed to the plants on monday and friday.

socialstorm This week was quite eventful (splendid growth XD) On May 16, the first 2 node sights on each plant were removed except on plant 3 which only had 4 nodes. Thus the 1st node was removed and the 2nd is currently wrapped in parafilm in an attempt to create clones utilizing a technique known as layering. (God Help Us😭). As we are currently in the monsoon season with bright lightning and thunderous clouds prowling our daily and night skies, we at now at the mercy of mother nature. Our girls were fed with 5ml of Fox Farm nutrients each day from Wednesday to Friday. P.S ^as I'm writing this^😵That Flash Of Lightning Was Blinding.
