Really confused as to what to do/how to make it better. I'm letting her grow and I'll see what happens, but they stayed too small and i'm considering throwing everything away and starting over. When I use biobizz grow at low dose, they show nute burn, when I don't and feed with plain water, lower leaves turn yellow... Hey at least the flowers are pretty and it smells amazing.
TL;DR: Pissed and about to burn it all. Any advice needed.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, quick update regarding water cure. I've watercured one Bud, dried it. And dried/half cured another of the same size. The result is scary. Watercuring eats so much volume. The half cured bud was twice as big and twice as fat. Also, the taste is so much better on it. I'd not recommend watercuring unless you need a stealth smoke or in a hurry.
Keep it up my friend, they're looking great, just grow and learn, there's no other way than to make things and then implement what can be better for the next time. The flowers are looking beautiful!
@CaciqueCayacoa, i probably can't expect anything over 10g really. In 3 months, that's not nearly decent. I mean, at least it'll be purple but i don't know. Wasted time, you know?
@Yogsothoth, also, you mention you want healthy plants but these look very healthy, they're just stunned my friend, their yield will not be a few ounces but still a good amount.
@Yogsothoth,but how would you know if the next one is going to be different? I hold onto my thoughts on finishing this so you'll have a complete vision on what can be done towards improvement. It'll still be worth it.
I can understand you ....
why don't you put some others seeds to grow with this plant ? Don't you have enough space ?
I agree with you that it won't worth it to grow just this unique plant.
Start over with new seeds and finish growing this plant for training.
You must check your pH and your ppm's, if you wanna grow some serious plants a pH meter and an EC meter is a must have for growers โ๏ธIt's better to use only the half of manufacturers recommendations to start and increase amount slowly.
@Yogsothoth,alright, I see.
It's an Autoflowering so it shouldn't take to long before she's done, probably another 5 weeks maximum. You can grow that plant as a training plant for your next quality buds.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, There are 2 stunted plants. my tent is 80x80cm, with one single 135W LED. I don't think there's enough room. I was almost decided to throw away these girls but today the smaller one changed color and is now blue... I don't have the heart to chop down a blue plant :(
Also i'll have to use the grow tent as drying space, since it's a stealth budget grow, so I can't really grow plants on different schedule.
So... I don't know. I'll take the week to give them a chance and make up my mind I think.
They're already budding so preflowers showed a fews days ago, anyway looks like they got stunned since they're flowering being that small. Luckily it's stretch time so it should be fun to watch. Keep it up.
@Yogsothoth, when they bud too early it's usually that they've been stressed so she's just responding by budding asap and as fast as she can. It's a survival tactic.
I had those spots on my last grow and it was due to high PH. Usually nute burn starts from the tips and goes from there so it doesn't seems like it.
I was not checking it because I was using PH perfect from AN but when I got a pen I was able measure and identify the problem. I do not trust any PH claims since then because I believe their system would work on water that has already a more optimum PH level for the plants but does not works well enough as a buffering agent but that's just my wild guess on how they seem to work.
I would advice you to get a PH meter and start from there.
@CaciqueCayacoa, Damn, I am not checking pH either since Biobizz claims you don't need to when using their stuff only. I checked the leftovers of last feed, and it's at 7.7pH (same as my water... wtf?)
Last time I trust any company's pH claim. I'll bring water to 6.5-6.7pH next time then.
Also, it could be wind burn from what I'm reading. I've moved the fan further away.
"Usually nute burn starts from the tips "
There is indeed one leaf that has a very small burn on the tip. I'll just go plain water on next feed, just in case. Thanks man.
@GreenDogLV, Thank you! I was going for auto colorado cookies, but I found a diary about this AutoBlackberry Kush here, and I knew I had to grow this one!
Yogo, nice grow, I'm also new so take what I say with a grain of salt. Have you used advanced nutrients? I use sensi bloom and now matter what I add to my water with advanced nutrients their advanced technology in the fertilizer never let my water go ove 6.9 ph. Give them a shot. I used them in all my grows. I don't know if I'll change either lol
@Green_inda_scene, i've read about it, but i've already bought the biobizz line because I try to stay organic, and they have the same claim (they say as long as pH is over 6, there's no problem).
I think i'll just go the reliable way, and check the pH of every feed and watering. Once the biobizz line is over, I might try the advanced nutrients. Thanks for the tip.
Good start, your story sounds a lot like mine, those are the exact same reasons I'm growing this strain, I will update my diary tonight with the first flowering week, I think I got the purps, very excited!
