BorderStateGrow Currently on day two of week three veg. I planted in Happy Frog soil with 3 tablespoons per 1 gallon of medium Gaia green 4-4-4. The plant is showing early signs of N toxicity due to the soil being too “hot”. Tomorrow after some more dry back, the plants will be repotted into 2 gallon container from .75 with only half dose of dry amendments being added to the new pot. Plants are being watered with RO water pH’ed at 6.3-6.5. The soil is pHing at 6.8.

BorderStateGrow Hopefully everyone is having a great week!
Plants seem happier after transplant into soil with nutes cut in half as they were showing signs of “N” toxicity. Did some defoliating of larger fan leaves to allow better light pen. Wattage has slowly been increasing from 240W to 350W currently.
Hurry up and wait at this point!

BorderStateGrow Plant growth has been taking off. Watering every 2-3 days using moisture meter as well as the old fashion knuckle test. Smell is coming along nicely and give off awesome odor when rubbing the stem.
Being my first grow, it’s awesome to see the new growth every week and seeing how the plant reacts to stimuli. I twisted down a couple main branches to allow more light into the canopy and the following day there was a bit of purple on the stem due to stress, rock on!
I will continue to veg until I have enough to fill out the tent with two other girls I have going as well. Once the four are ready, the light cycle will be flipped.
Check in next week for bigger and better things..Thank you for following along! 🌱

BorderStateGrow Welcome to week 6 veg of these Barneys Farm Triple Cheese!
This is my first grow and it’s been a blast so far. The growth has come along quite nicely. Early in the grow they were showing some signs of N toxicity. They were repotted into new living soil w/ nute dosage cut in half which they reacted positively too as new growth with brighter green and did not get the clawing at the tips.
The water intake has increased quite a bit. It went from 5% of the container (470 mL) every 2-3 days to almost daily waterings. The light was just increased to 380w from 350w so I’ll keep an eye on how the plants react to that, I am not expecting much.
I placed out yellow sticky traps not because I have seen any gnats/flies but more so as an indicator should they start to appear. I did have one little gnat stick to a trap but haven’t seen any other signs.
I’m not sure how long veg will last at this point, my goal is to fill out the tent wall to wall. Would these be big enough to flip to flower, in the event I wanted too?
All tips, comments, observations, criticisms are welcome!

BorderStateGrow Welcome to week 7 of my first run! 🌱
Only major change was tying down plant no.1 as it was growing all together vertically and was not allowing light into the center. I drilled holes into the side of the pot and used the green rubber plant ties to tie down the main four branches. Took about a few hours and the plant had already turned up towards the light. Plant number two has naturally grew without any good spacing so did not do any tying down.
Continuing to water with 6.5 pH RO water and have not added any nutrients to the soil. I plan to do a transplant on Saturday into a 5 gallon fabric pot, give it two weeks or so, and flip into flower.
Any comments, tips, criticisms are welcome!
