Blueberry Yum Yum

AestheticGenetics 5/1/25 nothing has happened above soil so i went and pulled to coco coir plug out and opened it up to get a better view of what was going on. Im happy to say that i saw a small tap root that is starting and the seed has cracked. so give it another few days and we should see something going on. Im not used to just planting directly into substrate so this is new to me and im not used to waiting this long. But I'm happy to report a taproot 5/6/25 after a bit of surgery i was able to extract the shell and the inner shell and i have set the cotyledone free. now the plant can start growing. its interesting to note that the cotyledone are purple on one side.

AestheticGenetics 5/8/25 had to do a little surgery to get the seed shell off but its off and the plants alive the cotyledon are open. the leaves underneath dont look very happy but we do have life 5/11/25 came home from vacation for the weekend to a beautiful healthy seedling. a 2 week germination phase isnt common for me but we do have a healthy plant now. So ill take the win. Diary may be confusing now though cuz i have a 3 day old seedling in the middle of week 2

AestheticGenetics 5/15/25 sprout is doing good. Today is day 7 for her since sprout. Shes only got the one leaves and the cotyledons. Shes about 4 inches tall and as you can see in the last photo has a huge amount of space to fill out. Specifically 17 gallons. The cover crop is coming in nicely and is a good camouflage right now at this size. Im excited to see how this lady turns out in a set up like

AestheticGenetics 5/22/25 shes not producing anymore leaves which is super odd. Shes getting taller and the leaves she does have are getting bigger but theres only miniscule sets of leaves that are next. I kind of wonder if a local slug came by for breakfast and ate her top?

AestheticGenetics 5/28/25 still slow growing but finally has another set of leaves. i may need to plant another one cuz im worried shes gonna start flowering too early

AestheticGenetics 6/4/25 really slow growing. Will more than likely need to abort soon and try with a new seed
