Hey there! They are wanting light!! that's why it has that slight yellow color get them under a light as soon as you can. make sure your light is far enough away that it won't hurt them at this young stage other than that they are looking great!! Happy Growing!

iam using 2x26 watt led for my seedlings, i can put that light very close to them without burning them, if you want to gow more think about looking for a "quite weak" light for your seedlingsstation. but it works too, to get nearer with the light, you just have to find the distance where she stops stretching and not burn her

how close is your light? edit: give them light straight away! Seedlings can handle heaps of light. They pop up under direct sunlight in the wild all the time and do just fine. Lack of light and you end up with tall and weak seedlings that can topple over. Honestly it's hard to beat a windowsill initially for seedlings when you are new and don't have a feel for your light yet.

@Ros8nb8rG, Yeah you definitely want light from the moment they pop out of the medium. Have a look at some other diaries, you will see lots of seedlings 1/3rd of the height yet they have rich green leaves. Does that container you have them in have a dome? One thing to be wary of especially with seedlings that are a little stretched like yours is low humidity. Clear plastic cup with a few holes in will do the job if they are not already covered. Lights put out heat which drops the humidity to levels that can easily kill seedlings they look fine one minute then the next minute they have folded in half. I think a lot of people mistake too much light as the cause of this which could well be the source of much of the misinformation when in reality it was too little humidity, possibly even exasperated by too little light! I wouldn't put them in the DWC yet either, let them root out the cubes first as drowning them is a very real risk. This is why I said you can't go wrong with a windowsill, it doesn't need any experience or dialing in it just works.

@cilantro, They are in the dark still.... :) And thank you.... i will try and put them in my dwc with weak nutrients and under the light now... :) See if that helps.... I am just very insecure and nerveous... :D First ever grow... and so many people with different views... :D

Sorry meant to elaborate before sending. It's very high for such a young plant and will cause it issues in the next few days/ weeks (salt build up, nutrient lock out, weak stems) Maybe take away the ph bloom as the P and K is hardly needed at this stage and drop the strength of the other two by a 3rd. Do you have an EC test pen?? I know from reading and experience Automatic's arent fond of high nutrients and problems can cost you valuable weeks I hope this helps. good luck with your first time growing!

Hey man welcome to GD. Good luck on your grow. Many others have mentioned giving light and you should. Trying hydroponics for your first grow can be challenging and fearsome because you initially need to know a lot, especially about timely feeding, making sure roots don’t rot. I recommend starting some beneficial microbes especially HYDROGUARD. Also you need to start on CalMag nutrients. Your Adanced Nutrients trio won’t have enough cal mag for them to sustain. One last thing, make sure your DWC have a lot of air pumping in and make sure you have ZERO lights shining through the reservoir. One light leak will ruin your entire roots.

Good luck with the grow bud! I'm just starting my 3rd grow but I use a 23w 6k florescent bulb for the first week about an inch or two away, then move to a slightly stronger LED about 10 inches away. I'll follow along, looking forward to seeing your lady rebound!

You will need light immediately the long stalk and very little leaf means you plant is growing up looking for the light. I know this because my very first seedlings did this because I didn’t have enough light and they toppled over. Leaves need to grow and expand.
