My Very First Grow

BigBossWill Day 1: May 1, 2025 The plant will be in a humidity dome via a Rapid Rooter plug into early vegetative stage, at which point it will be transferred into a 5-gallon pot in the grow tent. Rapid Rooter is already damp, so no water needed to be added. Placed seed pointy side down. Took little pieces from the side of the rapid rooter plug to cover the top where the seed is placed. Humidity dome is in darkness during the germination phase. Heating pad on set to medium. Research shows that temp should be approximately 85° F. I got out the Hydroponics Meter kit and calibrated it for the first time. Everything was completed around 11:30 AM. Now I just wait for the seed to germinate in 1-5 days! 5/4: First time checking on the root since planting since it does take a few days. The root can be seen just barely popping out and breaking the soil. The rapid Rooter was dry, and it was easy to tell there was no moisture. I sprayed directly on the root 4 times, and that was all it needed to moisten. Going forward, I have to remember to make sure to check the moisture of the Rapid Rooter daily and mist if needed because the dry root probably delayed the germination of the plant.
