Season kickoff with Buttercream Gelato

DanDryer One day after germination, I planted the plant in a 1.5L plastic pot, as a root had already grown out of the starter pot. I've now set the lamp to 30W.

DanDryer I set the lamp to 40W.

DanDryer On the second day of the third week, I repotted the plant into an 11L fabric pot with Plagron Light Mix. I set the lamp to the full 50W.

DanDryer The plant is growing and thriving. I'll probably top it by the end of the week. I've started fertilizing with 70% of the BB schedule. On day 5 of week 4, I topped the plant.

DanDryer I sent the plant into flowering and set up a SCROG net. On the last day of week 5, I lollipopped.

DanDryer The plant is now in stretch and is quickly gaining size and height. The pre-flowering is forming. For the nutrients, I went from 70% of the BB schedule to 100%, as some leaves were getting light tips.

DanDryer The plant is gaining a lot of height due to the stretch. The shoot in the front left has stopped growing compared to the others. I have now mounted the lamp to the right of the carbon filter to gain space upwards.

DanDryer The plant has gained a lot of height. I replaced the fan with a smaller one to save space. I somewhat stunted the vertical growth by bending the shoots (partially multiple times).

DanDryer Growth seems to be slowing down a bit, even though the 1m mark has been reached. If necessary, I'll bend a branch again. I've noticed that LST clips (or similar) are also very useful when bending, as the plant tends to straighten the bend (at least partially) if it's not prevented from doing so.

DanDryer The growth is finished and the buds are continuing to ripen. I'm now in the middle of week 12 and have to leave the plants alone for a week. For this, I watered with another 3L, fertilized, and gave the plant two Blumat Classics.

DanDryer I'm back, the plant has handled my absence pretty well. However, the leaves on the upper buds are starting to turn brown, which could also be related to the progression of the flowering phase. I immediately fertilized the plant and thinned out the leaves a bit so that the lower buds (of which there are plenty) can get more light.

DanDryer The buds continue to gain mass, but they still need a bit more time. I've removed a few leaves here and there so that the lower buds get more light.

DanDryer At the beginning of week 15, it was finally time: I cut the plant, roughly defoliated it, and hung it up in the grow tent.
