Fresh Pressed Runtz + Purple Matcha

Nonem420 Day 8 I'm using premixed nutrients with single ones implementation in RO water because for this run i'm feeling lazy (usually i mix only single nutrients but is very time expensive). *the epsom salt dosing is in grams/liter. Day 9 A not so little ph swing during the day (+0.6), probably solution not buffered enough and temperature. Today was hot enough to raise the temp of the water above 23°C, i'm going to try a diy thermoelectric water cooler that seem to do his job. Day 10 The water chiller is doing enough to keep 2 buckets at 20°C, a little bit spartan (and maybe kinda hazard, lol) at the moment but i was in a hurry, pythium is already in there.. this weekend i will isolate the cables and make it a little more safe. Overall the plant looks healty. Day 11 Nothing noteworthy. Still no roots coming out from the net pot. Day 12 Roots are developing, water temp, ph and ec are stable. Day 13-14 No notes

Nonem420 Day 15 Sorry, no photo because i was too stoned (lol) pythium is slowly growing on the roots. I removed what i can and added 0.5g of streptologic direcrly on the roots. Day 16 Nothing noteworthy, added 2 ml of N 27 (ec from 0.95 to 1.1) Day 17 She keep growing and seem to not be bothered by the root rot problem. No signs of nutrient burn or deficency Day 18 The root zone looks better but the war isn't over. Changed water and added the week 2 nutrients, gone a little bit heavy on the ec cuz she is sharing the water with an autoflower at her 4th week (soon to be moved and replaced with a purple matcha clone by Humboldt). Day 19 No notes, everything stable. I'm going to add a thermic switch to the water chiller next week because is doing too much of a good job (water was at 17.6 with an air temp of 26.5° C). Also wondering of upgrading the pump with a 60L/h and adding a third bucket to the loop because i think there's still some more cooling capabilty.

Nonem420 Last few days i barely had time to check the solution parameters and rilefill the buckets. I will try to keep up adding photos but for at least another week i will be very busy. Nothing to note in the last days of week 2, just refilled the feeding solution once, pythium is under control for now. Day 21 and 22 same as the last few days. Day 23 Removed a few leaves, she's doing good. Day 24 Removed another pair of leaves (the lower ones), were too heavy and i wanted to promote a little bit of vertical growth cause next week i'm going to top her. Added 2 ml of N27 to raise ec from 1.35 to 1.45. Day 25 - 26 Minor ph correction (0.3), everything ok and she's growing fast. Maybe i will anticipate the topping.

Nonem420 Day 29 Sadly there are some signs of magnesium deficency on the bigger leaves, guess who is the culprit? I've just added some N 27 and calcium on day 28 in 2 liter of ro water in the last week water. Day 30 Topping time! , in the next 2 days i will change the water and update the nutrients. I have directed my ac unit on the intake fan because is really hot now Day 31 Just upgraded the pump and added a thermic switch to the water cooling system. Removed the 2 bigger leaves Day 32 Removed half of the water in the buckets and replaced with 15 liters of ro water and nutrients (because i'm too busy to properly clean everything, i'm buying myself some days) raised ec to 1.75 Day 33 (For those who come after 😂) Last trim done, now i'll let her rest for at least one week without major training or defoliations. I'm planning to let her grow big and doing a lot of lst. Day 35 All good.

Nonem420 Filling soon Day 36 to 38 No photos, sorry.. I think i've waited a little bit too much for the water change but nothing too bad, only magnesium deficency signs but she keeps growing. Removed some leaves day to day. Noticed some taco leaves, maybe because humidity dropped a 10% with the ac or because of the magnesium deficency. Day 39 Added humidifier, targer 55% rh. Day 40 A little bit less yellow than yesterday. Overall good so i decided to start the lst. Day 41 No notes. Day 42 She's going on but that magnesium deficency is driving me crazy.. i'm trowing around 150+ppm in 15L of solution and still that fucking pythium manage to steal so many of it. 😡 I will try to raise the ph to 6.5 to improve magnesium uptake

Nonem420 Day 43+44 A little ec swing, added ro water to the bucket in order to keep the ec at 1.85, defoliated only the necessary and reoriented some branches. Day 45 Rest day, i'm happy with the actual canopy uniformity. Day 46 Nothing done, just checked ph and ec to found a little swing of both but nothing crazy (-0.3 ph and + 0.1 ec) so i let it as it was. Day 47 Added 3 liters RO water to decrease the ec at 1.87, ph at 5.7 (tomorrow i will raise the ph a little) She's looking better, more greenish. Changed pump of the chilling system (again but this is the last time) with an acquarium one (600L/h) and replaced the tubing with the autopot tubes. Tomorrow pythium update.. yes, the fucker is still there 😑 Day 48 Nightmare.. the new pump is too powerful ending to raise way too much the water level in the outlet bucket. I'm refrigerating 2 buckets with the water chiller system and was using the communicating vassels principle to let flow the water from une bucket to the other one. I solved mounting another pump inside the outlet bucket to push the water back. Added N, Mag, and micro with another 2L of RO water. Done a little branches reorientation and low branches clean up. Sorry i'm melted today, i postpone the root update to the next days. Day 49 Nothing done.

Nonem420 Day 50 Too much work those days and too little free time, just checked ph, added a little N to raise ec to 1.95 Day 51 She's bushing out, everything's looking good. Day 52 Ok, now she's running.. i was hoping to let her veg 'till week 9-10 but i'm probably going to switch 12/12 in week 8. The clone wich is sharing water with her (purple matcha by Humboldt) is really growing big and probably giving another week of veg i will not be able to manage the stratch of both of them. Day 53 Last defoliation and lollipopping before switch to 12/12. I will let her go untouched for the rest of the week. (Maybe, if training Pinus Contorta i can manage to keep her low, i will keep vegging the fresh purple runtz for another week) Day 54 Nothing done to the plant, just added water in the bucket and pushed the ec at 2.2 (will look for signs of overfert in the next days). Day 55 Removed some old leaves and rotated the plant for positioning the shorter branches in the more ppfd intense zone. Added 7 liters of water with the same nutrients ratio and ph as described in this week. Day 56 No photos, she's doing good. Tomorrow i will switch to 12/12.

Nonem420 Day 57 No photos, removed old water and changed with 30L with new nutrients ratio, led dimmed at 75% (600W, if i try to push to 800 the temp in the box reach 29.5°) Day 58 Nothing done, no photos. Day 59 Damn, i already have to refill the buckets! Almost 3/4 of the nutrient solution is gone.. Doing good! (Remember that the 30 liters are shared by 2 plants) added 17 liters but with a little too much k and the ec is now at 2.5, keeping an eye for possible overfert signs in the next days. Day 60 I can't belive how quickly i have to add water, today another 4 liters of only RO + micro and silica, ec was over 2.8 now lowered to 2.5 Finally added a rootball photo, as y'all can see indicated by the arrow that son of a bitch is still there 🤬 but is nicely under control. Day 61 Today big defoliation, poor girl i peeled her badly (i know that i should have defoliated before the 12/12 switch but i had miscalculated the leaves growth and i hope that this defoliation will help with the stretch cause she's shorter than pinus contorta). Aadded 3 liters of tap water to buffer the solution because ph is fluctuating a little too much (0.5 in 24h, quite satrange). On monday i'll buy a reaction ph test just to double check. Little signs of overfert, only some leaves tips yellowed but nothing she can't manage. Day 62 Nothing dobe Day 63 Refilled the buckets with 7 liters of ro, added a little of k and micro to restore the ec and a little ph correction. Apparently the defoliation didn't even bothered her, i'm running out of space in there 😅

Nonem420 Day 63 Done a little bit of work today, moved all the rest out of the box and replaced the connection tube of the buckets, replaced the solution with new one (cuz i want to be plenty of nutrients in these 2 initial bloom weeks). She is still too short, hoping in some sorta of final stretch 😅 Ps humidity at 70% because is rainy today Day 64 Nothing done Day 65 Added 10 liters of ro+nutrients, humidity still high, won't stop rain..

Nonem420 Day 70 Sorry, from now on i will update very little, i'm not doing soo much at this point, just keeping feeding. Tomorrow last big defoliation. Day 72 It's becoming pretty difficult to shoot photos in there.. i barely have space to add water to the buckets ( now 8 liters every day), added net for support and "constriction" of pinus because she's huge and was starting to trow shadow on the fresh pressed runtz.

Nonem420 Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that! Day 79 Jeez plz stop growing in height!! After this shaky video i raised the leds 10 cm, now i'm for real out of space.. I'm adding 10 to 12 liters every day, alternating ro with only silica one day and the other with nutrients. Day 81 Way too much leaves in the lower part of the plants but i really don't want to stress them more than the temperature is already doing (29.3C measured in the upper canopy at 5 cm from the leds). Luckily i've got a lot of airflow, 3 filtered exhaust and 1 huge intake to remove almost the humidity. Despite it all they are pretty healty, no visible burning signs.
