Is it better to top an autoflower or just use LST to increase yield? This is my first autoflower grow.

Both work and combined they work even better. When topping autoflower strains, you just have to keep in mind to top above the 4th node, removing the 5th, since when the 5th pair of leaves fully opens, the flower stage begins. Pure LST would take more attention and work.

I moved one plant to another tent under 24 hours of light to see if it finishes quicker than the other one under 20/4.

Thanks for all the comments. I am going to stick to LST for now and keep an eye on other autoflower grows that are topping their plants to see how they turn out. As for this diary, it makes it easier to do little hobby breeding program! Its always exciting to see what grows out when you cross plants.
