GTools Looking forward to trying this new strain by Fastbuds! They promise a new terpene profile! I want to check that out.
They're supposed to be fast, well after less than 48 hours, all seed have sprouted and the tap root .

GTools I'm growing this in parallel with two lemon cherry cookies auto from FastBuds, Though the Z-Up is supposedly one week longer, it is astonishing to see, that they grow even faster. The plants were transplanted , the last day of germination week.

GTools At the end of this week, I topped the two plants. They were developing very fast.
I'm curious to see, how they will react.
The pheno has broad leaves.

GTools The plants were topped. They grow very fast. They are even a bit faster than the two Lemon cherry cookies grown in parallel.
Started low stress training using paper clips and soft wire.

GTools The plants responded well to topping and LST. They have developed pre flowers than flowers in the course of the week.
A marked stretch has taken place.

GTools Well in to flowering now, both plants show clear nutrient deficiencies. Nitrogen, but also Calcium or even Magnesium seem to be lacking. The pants are still gaining height.

GTools Both Z-Up 1 and Z-Up 2 have reached their final height, both have 6-7 main bud sites and several secondary level bud sites. Thanks to lollipopping and defoliation, and LST all the sites receive a decent amount of light.

GTools Both plants are doing fine. Z-UP2 is showing some lower leaves wilting, but nothing out of the normal range.
A second wave of bracts is growing and we start to see some volume.
The smell is already quite strong and man...it is special!

GTools Both plants are developing nicely. There is a distinct gassy smell as well as citrus/lime. A lot of trichomes are covering the sugar leaves.

GTools NIce progress in flowering. both plants are doing fine. Really similar phenotypes, same small, same general structure and appearance. ZUP1 shows a bit more deficiencies than ZUP2 but even these are minor. The lants are striving and the bud gain volume end especially density. The branches need to be tied or else gravity pulls them down.

GTools Both plants have now again launched a new growth of bracts. This is round Number 4 for these two. I'll wait until these new flowers get time to swell up and ripen. Checked the trichomes, many cloudy but still a few glassy. Now and then, you find an amber one, but those are on old sugar leaves, and I don't consider these for my havest decision.
