GratefulgrowerX Seeds into water for 5 hours. Flushed solo cups with 6.3pH calmag water. Planted 1/2 inch down with mykos. Humidity dome on the solo cup. Lights on low, to set the mood.

GratefulgrowerX Still learning about feeding before autopots. Probably underfed at first. Now concentrating on runoff EC to dial in proper feeding timing. Lights are at 22 DLI which is high, but the tent is dialed in (~0.6kPa VPD, ~83 degrees per Dr. Bugbee) and she looks good so far. I'm sure I'll screw it up.... tune in to find out when and how.
RO water with GH Calimagic, Silica in the substrate (so no waiting an hour to finish nute mixing).

GratefulgrowerX Great week for GSC! Seems to be growing at a good pace. Probably could've transplanted a bit earlier, but she's no worse for the wear. I've been feeding daily since day 6 and her runoff finally balanced to input EC today.
Feeding before turning on the Autopot rez and Training were the two biggest areas I wanted to improve from my first grow. Training will be coming up soon. Although I'm intrigued by many different training methods, I've decided to focus on only a few for this grow: defoliation, leaf tucking and lollipopping. Who doesn't love a naked bottom?

GratefulgrowerX Just finishing up week 3 and GSC is Grooting all over the place. She's 13.5 inches tall and has taken to feeding herself well. I turned the rez on (Day 18) earlier than Autopot recommends, but these plants are growing quick and it seems to have caused no issues. I've been leaf tucking since Day 15 and it has seemed to help balance the growth. I'll be installing a trellis net this week in expectation of more vertical growth.
DLI / EC balance for the last two batches has been 27 / 2.5. She has a little bit of leaf curl because she grew herself into 30 DLI. I guess I should be measuring DLI every day.

GratefulgrowerX I guess it's called Fast Buds for a reason. She's 29.5 inches (75cms) and is growing quickly and fully. Unfortunately, her dance partner likes to waltz, not breakdance. There's about a 10" difference in height which has made me slow GSC down since they share the same light and nutrient solution. There's about a 3-4 DLI difference despite the fact that I have the light sloped down on one side to mitigate the difference.
Given how full both plants are, I've been dealing with the lower leaves dying on me. I do not like how the oscillating fans (I have two) treat the plants. I have both of them set at their lowest level and they abuse the top of the plants and don't circulate the air below the canopy. I'll be looking for a better solution.
Given all that, I had to perform heavy defoliation at an inappropriate time (Day 29). Added a trellis net on day 26. Continuing leaf tucking. First sign of pre-flower was Day 22. Replaced old space heater with AC Infinity Thermoforge heater. Much safer since I can keep it out of the tent and much better control.
NEW ENVIRONMENT SETTINGS:
Target VPD: 0.8-1.2kPa
Thermoforge Heater (just added): 83 degrees
Carbon Fan/Filter: Temp max: 84 degrees / Humidity max: 67%
DLI Target: 27
Nutrient mix: RO Water (w/CalMag), Canna A +B, Rhizo, Cannazym (no Cannaboost since it junks up the Autopot system)
Target EC: 2.3 (she could handle more, but her tent partner cannot)
pH Range: 5.6-6.1 (I adjust anything outside of this)
