The results of super cropping. Although it wasn’t intentional it did have good results. Next week is where it gets good

this is almost the end of week 6. Hoping to see some bulking soon. Lower sites are still producing pistils and the top site pistils are starting to curl over.

I’m at week 6 day 6 of flower on my ssh. I noticed some leaves turning yellow. I think it’s too early for them to show their fall colors as this is a 9-12 strain. My ph is always 6.4-6.8. My runoff ph is 6.6 always.I did move my lights down and just raised them. I’ll post photos

I see no actual issues on your Plant. Yes there are damages, but no new ones. I think you are on the right path. Happy Flowering

This was kind of a stall week in my opinion. Trying to figure out where the problem occurred from some lack of potassium or nutrient burn. Had a light drop on the ladies in my ghetto setup as I was entering the room. Come on ladies let’s bulk up!

Woo wee I had a scare! Let this be a lesson to any who use nectar for the gods organic nutrients!!! As noted on my last weeks photos out of the blue on what was a perfect grow I started to see what looked like lack of potassium. Rather than panic I did my research and found that the “bloom khaos” enhancer I had added in week 6 of bloom when used improperly makes it appear as such. Noted on ILGM.com and is the ONLY place I have found that information including Oregon’s finest website. Overall I’m super happy with their line of organic nutrients and even though it was a 1/4 stegth I was getting impatient and greedy on this particularly long winded 9-12 week flower strain. I’ve just recently gotten back into the hobby as this is my first solo grow and first I’ve dealt with in 25 years. I love the art and patience is the key. Thanks for reading and looking. In closing, super silver haze is definitely not a rookie strain and I’d only recommend it if you have a lot of time (5-6 months).

Week 8 of flower and in my mind the flower growth has stalled out and it more just resin and trichrome growth. I am really hoping these girls fatten up soon as the pistils are starting to orange and recede. I’m using organic nectar for the gods nutrients and I’m open to suggestions for a bloom booster as I’m getting a little impatient.

Edit: I knocked a half hour off the lights to get things moving at damn near 10 weeks of flower. The trichs are nearly half hazy so I’m going to do two flushes as I use organic nutes and wrap this up to make way for the autos and a new light setup. This is week 9 day two of the silver haze flower and I decided to make it all about the trich’s. In my opinion they are all about 75% clear at the tip and there are a TON of them. The challenge I have with running a 400 HPS on one side and a G8 900 on the other side with a far red in the middle Is that they are all at different stages or progress of bud. Since this is my first grow I’ve learned a LOT and know what I want to do different next time around. I switched the lights to opposite sides as the HPS is building more silver haze quicker than the led. However the led is fattening the buds faster than the other side. The far red bloom boosting light by G8 is creating Fox tailing and putting the buds in the center under fall color. I’m sold on going with an HLG 600 V2 next go round but wasn’t rich enough to play that game when I started this one. I’m going to dry them out as much as I can since they are drinking less and plan to give one more feeding before heading into a straight ph water feeding or a flush. Just one last photo and comment real quick. This week was straight water twice as the trichs are 60% hazy and nothing really new to report. Not much swelling but these nugs are rock hard and have a beautiful smell to them of flora and skunk. It’s a super long flower and for a first grow that I’ve done solo. I’ve got them in 48 hours of dark and they come down Sunday!!!!!! 5 plants total and as my best friend says it’s quality over quantity. Total bs but there’s enough for me and my people and I’ll get some hanging weights for you then. I’m going to switch the main 4.5x 5 custom tent to NFT after I get the autos from the budget tent finished. But first I’m going to clean out the tent and my BRAND NEW HLG 550 v2 will be here Saturday!!! The whole thing of having an HPS on one side and a G8 900 on the other totally sucks as I had to rotate them every week to get results to match. I suppose a sun circle would’ve helped but that’s not an option. I probably won’t do SSH again unless it’s in a 3rd tent simply because it’s so damn long on the flower. I love dinafem and their genetics and I’m hoping that Niagara seed bank can fix their site so I can get my critical plus 2.0 SOON. A big shout out to New England hydroponics for actually answering the phone to get me my new lights www.nehydro.com

Week 15. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Should’ve vegged longer but the outcome was still pretty good. I had some heat issues at the end due to ventilation being right outside the tent in a small room and not in the garage and using a G8 LED and an HPS together. Forna first solo grow I’d say I killed it with this strain but the strain helped me too. It’s a super long flower at 10-12 weeks and the hanging yield is super floral and skunky with a little diesel smell. I drove co2 in the beginning and the end. You must be patient and have nothing but time to grow this strain but it has wonderful rewards and there’s a reason it won the cup for multiple years. Kudos to dinafem for their always outstanding genetics. When they dry I’ll update the rest but I have a sneaking suspicion it’s a 25% chronic that I took at 50% haze trichomes with a few ambers simply by my own personal preference.

Not sure what more I can say that I didn’t say above. Patience, patience, patience! Veg longer with LED because they won’t stretch as much as you anticipate. They are very forgiving to a point and my nutes were organic until the end when I used kool bloom!to increase yield and made them a little unhappy. Cheers to dinafem for the best of the best when it comes to genetics!00

Our Super silver is at that stage where those buds are about to explode 👌 You've managed to create a beautiful canopy which will give all those beautiful budsites equal lighting and you can see they are getting ready to show the world what they can do 👊 Your well into bloom mate and looking great 👌 Please keep the updates coming. We want to see the see buds at harvest time. They are going to be huge 👍 All the best Mark..

@flowxman, thanks! I haven’t done an update this week because I literally JUST turned off the lights for 48 hours and will be chopping them Sunday :) they are super rock hard nugs so I’m hoping for less than 30% weight loss.

The issues started when you lowered your LIghts. Its very possible that they were burnt... but anyway, they look nice and green and in around 4 weeks they ar ready for you to harvest. Watch the distances of the light and keep the path... good luck

@ThatoneAKguy, well much better if you know , from what point it went wrong. And it harmed them no in a big number. everything is fine
ThatoneAKguy
ThatoneAKguycommented6 years ago
@Mrs_Larimar, if you are not familiar with the line of nutrients I use it’s an organic nutrient. The most major nute in the group is called hurculean harvest. When I started andding bloom khaos mid flower I learned I needed to bump up the amount of hurculean which is the nitrogen and potassium side of things.

Looking good. I hope they swell out for you. Generally they pack on weight the last 10 days.
ThatoneAKguy
ThatoneAKguycommented6 years ago
@Wandering_Sage666, they never really did swell 🤷‍♂️🏻 But I wish I had a 4D smellephone so you could get a whiff. They have a very floral smell with a skunk punch. Just started 48 hours of dark!

Some of your damage look like wind damage. Even in video its obvios that your fan is too strong and your canapy is not secured. Tie them up to stay stable and reduse your fan. Or make it to turn off for an hour after couple of working. Not good. Check "wind stress" for plants, loads of intetesting ideas. My smallest plants are from a. Wind b. Heater. Never knew that, but when you grow cucumbers or tomatoes you dont need fans, with weed its different ... But damadge from wind is a no no if you want some smoke ;)))

Awesome first grow! As long as they smell dank you are good! There's some debate about the color of the trichome and its potency, harvest window etc. Dont be afraid to experiment and take some branches at different weeks. My previous harvest was forced early by mildew and many trichomes were clear. Best bud I've grown regardless. Ideally I would harvest my plants after the generative growth has stopped but that is not always possible or feasible ... my silver haze plants just kept going and it looks like your have some spirit left in them too. Enjoy the harvest!
the end.
