Smoking_Joe_Frazier Smoking_Joe_Frasier’s Natural Grow Diary – Fast Buds Outdoor Contest 2025 Let’s kick off this organic(13.05.2025) Strain Selection: Why These Three Fast Buds Autos? 1. Bruce Banner Auto Genetics: Jack Herer x OG Kush x Ruderalis Why? The name says it all! This autoflower version of the legendary Bruce Banner combines XXL yields with the relaxed growth of autoflowers. Thanks to its Jack Herer roots, it delivers massive buds with high THC levels (up to 25%) and a euphoric, creative high. Perfect for those who love efficiency and power – exactly my style! 2. Forbidden Runtz Auto Genetics: Forbidden Fruit x Runtz Why? My grow buddy was right: This strain is an aromatic explosion! The sweet, berry-like notes of Forbidden Fruit meet the cozy, indica-dominant (70%) body high of Runtz. The result? A deeply relaxing, couch-lock experience, ideal for movie nights or sunset sessions on the balcony. Plus, the purple hues during flowering are pure Instagram gold! 3. Green Crack Auto Genetics: Skunk #1 x Ruderalis Why? Revenge grow! A few years ago, my Green Crack grew huge, with a mango scent that enchanted the neighborhood – but "complications" ruined the harvest (️). Now, I’m claiming my rightful yield! FastBuds is sadly discontinuing this strain soon – last chance to grow this energizing sativa (60% sativa) with its legendary focus-boosting buzz! The Setup: Going Full Organic Germination: Paper towel + cling wrap = 3/3 success!* FastBuds seeds are simply unbeatable. The tiny taproots are already popping – let’s roll! Pots: - Starter phase: 0.27L plastic pots for the first few days. Yes, autos hate transplanting – but these mini pots are super practical. - Final home: After 10-14 days, they’ll move to 15L fabric pots. More space = more roots = more buds! Soil & Nutrients: - Seedling stage: Biobizz Light Mix + a sprinkle of worm castings for gentle nutrients. - Main phase: Biobizz Allmix (pre-fertilized for 6 weeks) mixed with extra worm castings. - Nutrient boosters: 2x Biotabs per pot for slow-release power + diluted Bokashi juice (1:100) to activate soil microbes. Mycorrhizal Magic: - Secret weapon: A pinch of mycorrhiza goes straight into the planting hole and root zone during transplanting. These fungi boost nutrient uptake and stress resistance – proven in other current photoperiod grow! The Challenges: North Balcony Struggles Forseeable challenges: - Light shortage: North-facing balcony = minimal direct sunlight. Hoping for long summer days. In smaller stages they can chill with the tomatoes in the greenhouse for a few days - Weather roulette: Outdoor growing means rain, wind, and neighbor’s dog. Also snails, other pests, and the good old mildew will give me headaches like always. - Autoflower timing: Autos flower on their own – fingers crossed they sync with the best light my balcony can offer! What’s Next? - Day 1-10:South-facing windowsill for strong seedling growth. - Day 10 onward: Relocation to the north balcony. Updates: Weekly photos here – let’s see if the mycorrhiza-Biotabs combo lives up to the hype! Last year’s contrast: In 2024, I used coco coir and mineral fertilizers (Terra Aquatica Tripart series) for my outdoor grow. The outcome was a solid yield and even better quality outdoors. If you’re curious, check out my 2024 diary – it was quite the journey and a great learning experience! This year’s grow is a big shift: 100% natural, no mineral fertilizers. I’m curious if the taste will truly improve and whether I’ll match last year’s yield. We’ll see, Growmies – this is gonna be one wild adventure, and I’m very excited! If you wanna see massive outdoor trees, check out my other grow: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/259139-grow-journal-by-smoking-joe-frasier Alright, let the party – and the contest – begin! Smoking_Joe_Frazier Week 1: Slow & Steady Wins the Race Update 21.05.2025 Seedling life – no drama, just good vibes! The ladies are cruising through their second week, staying low-key but healthy. Nothing wild to report (as usual for seedlings), and that’s a good thing! Here’s the scoop: Greenhouse Love: - Daytime = greenhouse chilling! The temps and humidity there are way friendlier than the unpredictable balcony. The girls are loving the stable environment, and it shows – they’ve packed on some subtle but steady growth. - Overnight = snail defense mode! I’m not risking those slimy leaf-munchers ruining my babies, so I’ve been hauling them indoors after sunset. Better safe than sorry! Appearance Check: - All three are rocking their first true leaves, with no discoloration or droopiness. They simply look healthy. Current Mood: Boring is beautiful. No news is good news. Let’s keep this zen until the real fun begins! Happy growing all together my friends Smoking_Joe_Frazier

Smoking_Joe_Frazier Week 2: Slow & Steady Wins the Race Seedling life – no drama, just good vibes! The ladies are cruising through their second week, staying low-key but healthy. Nothing wild to report (as usual for seedlings), and that’s a good thing! Here’s the scoop: Greenhouse Love: - Daytime = greenhouse chilling! I’m not risking those slimy leaf-munchers ruining my babies, so I’ve been hauling them indoors after sunset. Better safe than sorry! Appearance Check: - All three are rocking their first true leaves, with no discoloration or droopiness. Bruce Banner’s slightly ahead in size (no surprise there!), but Forbidden Runtz and Green Crack are keeping pace. - Stems are sturdy, and the roots are likely already plotting their escape from those 0.27L pots. Next Steps: - Transplanting is on the horizon! In the next 5-7 days, they’ll upgrade to their final 15L fabric pots. Let’s see if the Mycorrhiza works its magic during the move. Current Mode: Boring is beautiful. No news is good news. Let’s keep this zen until the real fun begins! – Smoking_Joe_Frasier Update: 30.05.2025 (Day 17) Today’s Mission: Final pots for the auto queens! The Trigger - The seedlings officially outgrew their 0.27L starter cups! The Biobizz Light Mix had served its purpose and its Time for the big leagues: 15L fabric pots with nutrient-rich Allmix! The Repotting process 1. Soil Mix Prep: Base: Biobizz Allmix (pre-charged with 6 weeks of goodness) Boosters: 30% worm castings (microbe party!) + 2x Biotabs per pot (buried deep, away from direct root contact). 2. Myco Re-Up: - Dusted the root ball’s "four corners" with fresh mycorrhiza powder to engage more root symbiosis. 3.Fabric Pot Perks: - Air-pruning = no circling roots! - Perfect drainage = happy roots, no swampiness. Post-Transplant Care - Watering: Gave a gentle soak with non normal water. - Location: Back to the greenhouse! Balcony exile waits until stems thicken. - Snail Watch: Still hauling them indoors nightly – no risk allowed! What’s Next? - Greenhouse stability, let them recover after repoting - Bokashi juice to start more microbe activity - Biotabs Activation: Slow-release nutrients kick in around Week 4 – no extra feeds needed planned! - Start with LST as quick as possible (But also not to early, no growth stunting allowed). No drama allowed – this week is ALL about root glory! See you soon, Growmies. Smoking_Joe_Frazier

Smoking_Joe_Frazier Week 3: LST Launch & Greenhouse Power Update: June 5, 2025 (Day 26) The ladies handled transplanting perfectly and are rooting vigorously in Allmix! Time for muscle training! Low Stress Training (LST) Initiated - Method: Main stem gently bent horizontally using electrical wire (soft-coated!). - Tactic: Daily readjustments while stems remain flexible – no stagnation allowed! - Goal: Even canopy development and light for all bud sites Environment Setup - Greenhouse Mode: Door closed at moderate temps (18-22°C) – ideal for early growth! - Rain Check: Constant rain outside, but zero slug alerts – not in these autos or my photo grow! (Rarity!) Next Steps - LST Maintenance: Daily 5-minute adjustments. - Bokashi Boost: 1:100 dose next week for microbes. - Greenhouse Venting: Open door when 25°C – no root sauna! - Pest Patrol: Daily underside leaf checks + sticky traps deployed. Let's see if the training pays out Smoking_Joe_Frazier

Smoking_Joe_Frazier Vegetation Week 4 Update - June 16, 2025 (Day 31) The recent weather shift brought two days of intense 32°C heat, triggering a significant growth spurt across all plants. This rapid development necessitated daily adjustments to the LST training to maintain proper canopy formation. On June 13th, the plants received a Bokashi juice feeding (1:100 dilution), which they've historically responded to well. Forbidden Runtz: This strain maintains its position as the largest plant. A distinct aroma is now noticeable when rubbing the stems, and its stem thickness measures approximately one-third greater than Green Crack's. Vigorous growth continues with no signs of heat stress. Green Crack: Slightly behind the others in development but displays excellent health. No discernible scent yet, though a substantial growth surge is anticipated in the coming days based on its current vitality. Bruce Banner: Developing good structure with side shoots entering a major growth phase. Keeping up with LST adjustments has become challenging due to its rapid expansion. Unfortunately, I discovered ants transporting aphids to the new growth tips. Immediate intervention is planned. Critical Action: Tomorrow I'll apply a neem oil and soap solution to combat the aphid infestation on Bruce Banner. This treatment must occur before pre-flower begins to prevent potential damage to developing buds. Daily monitoring for pests will now be part of the routine. Next Steps: - Continue daily LST adjustments - Monitor for pre-flower transition signs - Implement pest prevention measures across all plants Thats it for now Growmies, wish y'all all luck with your own grows and thanks for checking in! Smoking_Joe_Frazier Week 5: Preflower Transition & Canopy Management Update: June 21, 2025 (Day 38) The plants have officially entered preflower although it doesn't look very spectacular. But this will surely change my guys. Significant LST efforts continue to maintain an even canopy - all shoots are systematically positioned around the pots and secured with electrical wire for optimal light exposure. Strain Progress: Forbidden Runtz Maintains its dominant position as the largest plant. Shows the most advanced preflower development with numerous white pistils emerging. Its vigorous growth pattern suggests exceptional genetic expression compared to the others. Green Crack Remains the smallest plant with delayed preflower signs. However, its recent growth acceleration is notable. Given its later transition into preflower, it may still achieve substantial size. The anticipated mango aroma from previous grows remains a key point of interest. Bruce Banner Exhibiting impressive vertical stretch. All new growth has been immediately trained horizontally to promote additional cola development. Its reputation for large size keeps expectations high regarding its potential to rival Forbidden Runtz. Environmental Management: - Greenhouse temperatures monitored daily - Plants moved outside when temperatures exceed 30°C - Continued pest vigilance in enclosed environment Next Phase Focus: 1. Maintain LST adjustments as stems thicken 2. Monitor early bud development Thanks for checking in guys and hope you enjoy my dairy. Smoking_Joe_Frazier
