Moonwalker Kush

And we are off to the races. This lovely Moon Walker Kush will be our mother plant and I will be taking clones from it repeatedly. My flower room will cycle back and forth between my Sunset Sherbet and Moon Walker kush. I am excited to get these diaries under way. The plant has been growing extremely well and has taken to the feeding of the nutrients and the light. I started to notice some wilting leaves and checked ph, light intensity, heat, and water levels. After doing so I determined it was starting to get to big for its pot and decided to transplant. The soil I transplanted into is a mixture of Fox Farms Ocean forest, added perlite and coco coir. I also mixed in bat guano and kelp. Lastly I topped of the root zone and hole with mycorrhiza to help promote strong root growth. Since the transplant the plant has recovered very well and there were no signs of transplant shock. I took clones from the plant and started them out in the Rockwool cubes. I’ve used rapid rooters in the past with great success but wanted to try a cheaper and more stable plug. This week I also began training the plant to develop more branching. Seeing as this will be my mother plant, for the next few months, I want to be able to cut as many clones as possible to rotate my garden quickly. There wasn’t much that has happened this week. Everything is looking good and moving forward. The clones that I took from her have rooted and been transplanted. It will be a while before they go into the flower room. No earlier than 10 weeks. I dropped my phone while kayaking this weekend so I lost all my photos. Took 6 clones from the moonwalker kush this week towards the end of the week. Trying out my hand at Aeroponic cloning. I’m currently using the Viagrow cloner but have been shipped a EZ-Cloner and will run both of them side by side for comparison.

We are still weeks out before I switch these ladies to flower because all of my flower rooms are to full capacity. The clones from the mother moonwalked kush have all taken root. My black aeroponic cloner is a week ahead of my white EZcloner. Everything is going well so far. They started showing their first signs of deficiencies this week so I increased the feeding. Nothing else to report.
