I popped this to follow up my silver haze in hopes I could move it to the flower tent to finish it off. Looks like the haze may run long so this may be a budget tent start to finish.

I broke ALL the rules here and topped this little auto right away and it never missed a beat. I immediately started feeding it half nutes and doing LST on it. This plant is a beast and I have high hopes for it. I have a 4 week old blackberry auto by fast buds next to it and it’s almost the same height!

I had a double screw up this week and broke two main stalks while attempting LST. She grew so fast and I got a little aggressive trying to contort her. Luckily she healed right away but it looks like she’s already I preflower so I’m going to continue half strength nutes and just let her do what a Moby Dick does. I should have quite a few kola sites so let the fun begin.

This little monster is shaping up nicely. This is the budget tent and she is directly under a single 60 watt HLG 3k panel now. There is a mars hydro 300 on the other side of this 2x4’. So far it looks like I’ve got 8 or 9 cola sites and I can’t wait for the stretch. My nutes are nectar for the gods organic and I’ve been giving her full strength veg on the intermediate schedule. Next watering I’ll switch up to the flower at half strength. I’d like to note that I’ve also been using bloom khaos in that line as a foliage spray but like with my other diary I’ll probably have to finish with kool bloom powder to get any sort of swelling. #dinafem # HLG #foxfarms

The stretch is on at the end of week one flower. I went full nutes mid week with my organic lineup of nectar for the gods. She’s already as tall as her neighbor the blackberry and as predicted the Moby Dick xxl is a beast. I’ve got them in the budget tent while my silver haze drags on in flower. I’ve got her in fox farms soil and plan to make a switch over to an ebb and flow style hydro when I get the other ten cleared out and plan to run this and the amnesia xxl together to see just how much more I can get out of them. Hopefully I can get another 2-3 inches of stretch out of her and I’ll drop the light right back on top for the finish. Thanks for lookin’

Grow Questions

2.5 weeks into flower and her leaves are yellowing in a way I haven’t seen before as if it’s from the inside out??? The past few days she has slowed in stretch and growth? Soil based and half organic nectar for the gods nutes. been let to dry out between watering. Posting photos.

Sorry brother just saw this today. Your question must have gotten pushed back especially if there was a lot of people asking questions. Who ever told you it was a potassium issue guessed wrong. If it was potassium the edges of the blades would be browning and the leaves would start to curl and become brittle by now. Looks more like a zinc deficiency issue possibly a boron deficiency or both. Pretty unusual. Its typically due to having a ph above 6.5. Another possibility is an excess of phosphorus can cause this type of lockout also. Your in a state of "nutrient lock" this is why your buds aren't bulking up. I would give her a light flush with 2-2.5 gallons of ph correct water in the 5.9-6.3 range. Add nutes back into the last quart or half gallon. Check the ph of the runoff the first time you run water through her this will give you a better idea if the ph of the soil is higher or lower than what your putting in. Also if you have a TDS meter see what the ppm is of the runoff. It wouldn't surprise me if it was pretty high. Let her dry out a bit more than usual after your flush. Hope this will get her back on track you still have enough time for those buds to fill in. I'll follow your grow. Good luck.

Well NO ONE on this site reached out to try and help and I was kind of disappointed in that with so many great artists. I had to take my issues over and join ILGM. The veins were dark on MOBY and yellowing from the middle and it turned out to be a potassium deficiency and a potential build up but I don’t have my new ppm meter to get the whole truth. I upped my Demeter’s destiny and my hurculean harvest and let it run off more than usual. This lady is out of lock out and reaching for the sky in one day with leaves coming back to color!!! Hopefully the stall didn’t set me too far back. Going to switch away from the HLG 60 and mars 300 and put them under a brand new HLG 550 v2 this weekend in the main tent!

This little Moby Dick and I can’t seem to get along. I blame myself for getting her started in a budget tent I suppose. She’s in better conditions now under an HLG with plenty of room however I surmise that those early vegetation weeks are so critical to the end game that if not done under the best of circumstances ie enough lighting you’ll never get out of them what you want. The amnesia XXL next to her was moved pre flower and has leaves the size of saucers and is about two inches taller already. It is a fact that you don’t see nearly as much stretch out of soil under led lights. I now have a tent dedicated to autos with NFT so we’ll see if that can garner the results with a new diary!

I’ve tried everything with this little lady in testing my ppm in and runoff. The ph is correct and although the buds look great the leaves are still yellowing from the center out.

I broke a branch and ended up taking that little cola bud because it was clearly dying and as for the rest of the plant which I had WAY overfed and proceeded to flush for the past two weeks I decided at the guidance of a pro to try and get her to finish up with dry kool bloom, hurculean harvest and a tablespoon of molassesday before yesterday. Buds that were sad started to perk right back up and I see a little foxtailing today. The leaves on the underside are still green and there are just a few trichromes starting to haze up. Overall I think I’ll get a save and the chalk this up to a learning experience in switching from nectar for the gods to general hydro and getting a nutrient buildup In the soil. My other little projects and diary’s while having similar though less heart breaking challenges are moving right along now and my NFT hydro is absolutely mind blowing and the direction I’ll be headed in the future. thanks for looking.

This little fatty is still putting on weight although it sure is leafy and not the density I prefer. Might just be the pheno and the fact that she’s had a tough life. Regardless she is using all her energy to make the best of it. I gave her some nutes the last week and straight water this morning. Still clear in the trich department so I’ll let her do what she wants.

Once this lady started having issues she was nearly impossible to keep on track. Due to early life she was short and compact but that was my fault. Maybe it was that particular pheno and she was very leafy within the flower. Around week 2 the balance of cal mag and water intake was very challenging. She has a very earthy smell to her and and as promised by Dinafem the amount of and diameter of the flowers were outstanding. I’m definitely going to try again with the new setup because I know I can do better with this one! I won’t have a dry weight for about 7-10 days.
