@billycardine0420kingYeah, the point being: I didn’t want them that big — I just started early because I enjoy the process and I needed them to stay small so I saw a great opportunity for manifolding. I’m not growing for size. Your perspective is interesting, but it would’ve been more helpful if you had framed your comment that way from the start. Not every grower has the same goals. I’m not focused on size or productivity. If you check my profile, you’ll see this is my first outdoor grow, and I also have 2 other plants (Rishi) that I topped as you suggested — and they’re definitely bigger (which proves your point, maybe). For me, it’s about learning different techniques and experiencing things for myself. If I want a big monster plant next time, then I’ll know from both experience and your suggestion that I might not need the manifold or the extra veg weeks.
