The plants have been doing very well had a slight ph problem but a good flush with correct ph sorted that they have been vegging under a 400 mh bulb and been given very few nutrients I’m going to add some flowing nutrients in the week and switch the lights to a 400 watt hps red specrium I’m going to add a 250 watt true power dual spectrum led as well just to see how it effects flowering
been meaning to update but been flat out with work and life the plants are coming into the end of week 6 now they have been doing really well and keep growing like crazy there are loads of buds on the girls I’ve changed my approach with these plants I used a 400 watt mh to begin with for the first 4 weeks then I switched to a hps duel spectrum 400 watt but didn’t like the amount of heat I was getting so I put in a 800 watt cob led light 400 watt actual draw and another 250watt cob led on the side 100 watt actual draw the girls seem to be livings it ! I’m still not using that many nutes and all organic Ive been adding molasses twice a week now too thanks for reading ! Any questions please ask !
My plants are growing well And are quite bushy would it be a good idea to remove some of the fan leaves that are blocking the light to the lower bid sites or should I just allow to grow as they are ? All opinions welcome
You are in veg and some fan leaves are blocking light : remove them ! The stretch will makes the plant grow at least x2 so it will produce new leaves all over. Once in flowering it's too late for an heavy defoliation, but removing fan leaves can be done until the end of the 1st week of flowering if you don't what the process to be harmful for your plant. More light on the buds will provide bigger buds
Hi, on automatics i just would pick away that disturbs the airflow... but the very down area ( 10 cm from the layer, i would tuck away completely)
and some leaves who block the budites....... but try to remember, that everything you take away the plant likes to rebuild. but a moderate picking dont harm her
The girls are coming to the end of week 9 now there looking very good ! Getting really big and fat may have to harvest the top buds soon and let the smaller ones develop more they haven’t really been getting an awful lot of Nutes ive keep it’s short and sweet and the girls have loved it I will post some better pictures when I can hopefully you get the jist of it !
Ps had a bit of an accident the other day one of my fans fell off and came crashing down right on the middle of the girls snapping two beaches that housed big buds I managed to stick them back together and support them with ties and all seems good thankfully !
Not really much had changed since last week the plants are very close to harvest I’ve noticed lots of new little buds forming which aren’t gonna come to much as the plants are near the end now ! some of the lower leaves are starting to drop now and the buds are really starting to fatten up the leds are a little powerful as it’s sarting to burn the sugar leaves but I’ve ran out of height in my tent now can’t lift the lights any higher I will give them a last feed of just molasses this week then just plain water I’m really happy with how the girls are turning out ! 🤞
Forgot to mention after the flush with correct ph I added magnesium and calcium to the grow as one of the plants looked as if it was stunted but that wasn’t the case a few days later she caught up with her sisters !
